I’m a small person and I play tenor and alto

Also tenor is more frequently used in jazz , but that doesn’t mean the alto cant be used in jazz.

I’m a clarinet player who’s learning tenor to play in the jazz band at my school (middle school). All I can say is that it really depends on if you have prior experience (at least for me). For example, all the notes are the same for clarinet and tenor it’s just different fingerings.
