Police people seem independently operated and controlled by whims and opinions of themselves, supervisors, judges, townships, cities, counties, and states! These are blue-collar workers, not educated lawyers, and many of them today are without high school diplomas!...
The deputy/policeman jobs attract mentally abusive psychopaths, sociopaths, pedophiles/child molesters, rapists, narcissists, and thugs like drugs are to an addict, more than any legal profession.
The police MUST pay financial damage from their own pockets for unlawful acts against innocent taxpayers, or the policing problem can only exacerbate even greater hate and demise, further dishonoring the profession of policing for profit...

When the citizens get tired of it, they will say they are tired of it. Till then they can't complain the money they spend is hoping out a citizen who was wronged by those they refuse to hold accountable. This clown needs decertified and chief should put request in to the California POST to hold a hearing for such determination. He's broken public trust, has had his second arrest, violated a person's rights...all grounds for decertification. Let's see how far it goes.

A legal scholar and lawyer said it best,"It's a huge poker tell when police won't release body cam footage or becouse of ongoing investigations". If they honestly thought the officers actions were justified they're fast to release officers bodycam footage of the incident. You know we have a good case when they obstruct bodycam footage." You just know they're doing everything they can to minimize the inevitable damage from legal settlement

"use of force incident" AKA, assaulting civilians and crapping all over the Constitution. This would not be an issue if law enforcement departments followed and obey the law along with the Constitution they swear an oath to uphold. Violating their oath of office AKA committing a crime, should be instant jail time.

Using canines for the express purpose of biting should be a felony criminal offense every single time. If a bite occurs in the dog trying to stop a runner fine. Or if the officer is attacked. But sent to bite is a line that shouldn’t be crossed.

Intentional Tort claim should be priority for this woman. No matter how the DA tries to handle this, Tort claims will make people act accordingly and make them an extreme liability wherever they seek future employment. Paid leave and a misdemeanor charge😂😂😂 Goes to show who our city officials are really here for. Disgusting. I know that any lawyer in town will never give this lady the right advice on how to proceed. Money wouldn’t be enough for me to not take this to the top. Use us force records came mentioned in this report came from the polic e department themselves. Think about how disengenouse those statistics actually are - when investigating themselves and finding no wrongdoing. Image how different the would actually be if citizen review boards had authority for transparent investigations and real accountability. In fact, the 'Council on Criminal Justice Task Force on Policing' called for "complete overhaul of U.S. police training and national standards". The task force found "most police training in the United States is misfocused, too short, uses ineffective teaching methods, and is out of alignment with both community safety priorities and research about what works to minimize bias and use of force." The task force concluded. “Police departments need policies and standards that hold officers accountable - and leaders committed to changing the internal culture of their departments.”
We've posted this justice task force study many times to date and law enforcement has failed to offer single reform. Maybe its because news media censors open debate or maybe its because a the court of opinion manufactures consent.
