First minute and half of the video absolutely cracked me up! 😂 Respect to your commitment Gareth, with respect honesty can’t think for one minute why you would purchase these. Grated cheese every time for me with HP. 👍🏼 The chips looked absolutely bang on!

Ouch! Yes as you say there are plenty of beans about and cheese too. I prefer Branston's but Bramwell's are not bad and if your adding cheese it makes little difference and you can go a little more than 8%. They are playing on the names but is it worth 1.80?

Reminds me of my Uni hall of residence breakfast- served by a lovely old Eastern European Lady. One of the options was Cheese on toast with beans. After the first time, I was hooked. I think I ate it every morning while living there. I’m now old enough for a bus pass. I don’t have it for breakfast but it is still a favourite quick meal when I’m not that hungry.

Heinz Curry beans were lovely back in the 70s with bangers and smash, camping.
    Unfortunately Heinz changed the recipe.
Never had these but look good.

Gaz, keep up the great reviews! You’ve changed my shopping habits. I changed from shopping in Sainsbury’s to Aldi this year. This weeks shop was £50 (Sainsbury’s usually around £80). Thank you for opening my eyes to over-priced ‘brands’.
Keep up the great work! 🫡

Probably best served as campfire tucker with hot coal roasted spuds..
£1.80 is a bit rich for beans with a mild cheese flavour.

now that this product is out itll be interesting to see how long it takes lidl and aldi to bring their own version of the product out at a cheaper price, i was thinking too... if cathederal city used their extra mature cheese it would taste better but theyre obviously going down the mass production of a cheaper variety to supply to heinz... nice review tho mate and bullet dodged.. ill steer clear of them when im out shopping and stick to the home made cheesey beanos

    No, no, NO.
    NO.
You DO NOT - EVER - churn Cathedral City into baked beans. That cheese is the Holy Grail of the dairy industry. It is beautiful and so precious that shoving it in a can is pure sacrilege.
That's basically like throwing the Mona Lisa on a bookshelf. Upside down.
    You add cheese TO beans.
If I was a real foodie I'd be fuming 🤣

We get cheesy spaghetti in Australia, no cheesy beans (but we can get English recipe baked beans). The thing I remember most is cheesy peas, from the Fast Show. Funnily enough, until I watched this video, I never thought about making cheesy peas. If I didn't have a couple of cheese and onion pies on the go for tea, I'd probably try it. Actually, there's still time, I might chuck a few peas in and make some chips. too. Cheesy peas pies and chips. You've talked me into it. Cheers! What should I have for tea tomorrow?😂

The allergen labelling requirement by law only needs to list the ingredients of the Prepacked for direct sale (PPDS) food and use bold or a form of clear refence as to which ingredient contains what allergen e.g. cheese (milk) There is no other requirement to alert you on the label but it is good practice to do so. An exception would be "Packed in an environment that may contain X.
Cheesy beans are much improved by adding the grated cheese after plating up the beans as you get all the stringy bits. Great video, £1.80 is taking the mick.
