So many thoughts on this ep 💔 Louis name being overlayed over Claudias ashes in the final shot confirmed what they said in the episode insider that Louis humanity dies along with her 😮 I'm so happy that she heard the words " Claudia is my coven" finally getting the community she desperately wanted. I feel like her and Madeline really would have been cool vampires and true companions had they been given the chance 💔
I think they did a good job of showing subtle signs that Lestat was under some duress and I do agree that if Louis corroborates something Lestat says then it is real like how Claudias turning happened. VS the trial framing Louis as "hunting" Lestat during the courtship which Louis denies ( " Come to me!? Those are his words!) I also think Louis is at the point where he is starting to take responsibility in Dubai ( "I've downplayed my role." " You should use Lestats version")
In regards to the revisits, I believe they are meant to provide additonal context for POV purposes but not necessarily change the event itself. I do think it would be interesting to revisit the murder night eventually but i think it would only reinforce that Louis slit his throat and was torn up about it ( screaming , crying, holding his body, etc) which goes in line with him feeling so guilty in S2.

No need to apologize, I am hanging on every word. This is truly a communal hug/therapy session. Madeline and Claudia did so much for each other that others didn't do for them. It hurts my heart that this is the second time 'Mad is being punished for finding comfort in a monster and once again, she stands by her decision. 😭
@booksgurrsandpurrs yes totally agree ❤️ There was something to be said that Madeleine was so out of it during the trial ( with Santiago in her ear.. Maybe having her stay awake since it was daytime?) and yet she is so firm in her stance even when Claudia nods to her like you can say yes to them. She was like no, YOU are my immortal companion and I'm staying with you. So tragic 💔
Another thought you mentioned on Santiago! I totally think he will be the last and most painful of the Coven deaths. I keep having this image of Louis with that sycthe and taunting him the way he would do with the victims of the stage plays but we'll find out next week😮 the cast articles that have been coming out have been killing me for sure 😭

I think Louis never tells Lestat that he loves him because those were the last words he said to Paul before he fell to his death. He was traumatized and felt responsible for it.
We never hear him say “I love you “ to Claudia although we hear her telling Louis, she does not tell him that often enough. Madeline asked him why he does not express his feelings to Armand? Louis never wants to feel that vulnerable to someone again.
💯🫰 agree. That's why when Louis tells Armand that he loves him, it rings a tiny bit false. Louis wouldn't tell someone he loves that he loves them. Or if he does love Armand it's like loving a pebble when Lestat is his axis. 😭
