omg. that was just awesome! i loved the mini, prophet, prodigy! the contrast in the tuning of the different instruments, some of them sharp, some flat. Oh Wow! creamy, sharp, singing... you’re really talented. blew my mind. liked and subscribed. off to watch all your vids. 👏👏👏👏

enjoyed that - best synth jam ive heard in ages - really like the way you paused and went to the huge prophet 5 then paused and went to the organ. Really good - loved the rhodes - the model d still sounds great - i have the boog and it dont sound like that nice model d tone. One of the best jams ive heard in many years.
Thank you for the detailed compliments. Never got my hands an a Behringer D. I bet it has its sweet spots. The downside for me is just that a Minimoog should‘t live in a module-style format. Has to be a full synth instrument with keyboard and controls. That‘s what made it famous and what‘s the whole point in it (at least for me) - playing and modulating the thing like a real organic instrument.
@@mariusleicht there are so many examples of a model d sounding great - so many mid and high solos which sound so cutting or juicy or sad - now ... there are NO boog examples of solos on the entire youtube - none - the only thing it can do is the bass because your ears cant really hear bass clearly and it gets away with sounding the same - I would love a real model d - but to exp. I do have a maxikorg dv800 thats a pretty good old synth ( best i have ) - always love your set up . I thought that recent jam was one of my faves ive heard from you - I thought it was well thought out and def hard to do - even though you made it look easy. Like i said one of the best jams ive heard in years.

This is wonderful. How do you make that Minimoog sound so good? 😲 I have a Boog (well that’s what I have…) and can’t make it sound like that. Is that a triangle wave or is it a more complex patch? Is it the reverb? But anyway, your playing and musicality is so good! Cheers.
Thank you, I'm glad you like it! I get asked about the Minimoog patch a lot. It's based on two narrow square waves, spread an octave apart. But the trick with lead synthesizers is not so much the actual patch, but to play them expressively, using all kinds of techniques like vibrato, pitch bending, filter modulation and stuff like that... Hope that helps.

They do but they very expensive, as for most of this gentlemans gear so cheaper sythersizors and emulsions is what I have.
