In the first example I see you're kickin to the center for a corner 3 pt shot? Guessing you have kristaps porzingis at center?
lol, my center is actually better from the wing for 3... But the positions are interchangeable
The thing these videos about how to beat a zone defense doesn’t talk about is the need to be able to make 3s esp at corner.
Basically how to beat a zone defense - shoot 3s. This is hard when coaching beginners and intermediate youth levels.
My coach don’t let me move enough just have to follow every movement making it easy to know what are next move is

@@bballcoachalleni disagree. Every entry level basketball team should first learn zone defense. Its easy to learn and is effective. It teaches defensive movement and help defense . When your team gets a good grasp on zone defense is then you teach man to man. Starting off trying to run man to man . Youth players tend to chase there guy around even if there guy is not close to the play on the weak side. More in experienced youth players will tend to let the guy with the ball drive by them if it's not there guy because there too worried about the person there supposed to guard

It’s all well and good until your team can’t shoot 3’s and the defense plays man on you because they know they’re more athletic than you and your coach hasn’t even taught it yet 😂
This is where we are. Their defensive sits back and doesn't work 6 about covering 3s.
Lil league don’t work on man to man just 2-3, easier to guard at young age which is cool but what about when they been playing zone they whole life and get to upper lvls and don’t know the rules and concepts of M2m
Sad because we want these kids to be better than the next but the everybody wins era messin it up basketball need dogs! Kids nowadays need a reason to be good, for the pure competitiveness of you ain’t better than me!!
