I love both Galashiels and Hawick! Hard to choose! But I think if I HAD to choose...I would say Hawick...because I prefer small towns. I visited the borders from Canada this summer ( my sister lives in Hawick).. and I spent time in both places. Love the borders! Can't wait to return!
@@thekiltedcyclist4698Haha - Lived in both previously a long time ago, now a Scot down south. Both good, but Gala pipped it because of it's more diverse population - loads of students and hospital staff not from the town which gives it a more interesting demographic. But both great places to live!
