    Wow! Your gasket tells the story of really a lot of cooks 👍🏼

      I would say more the 200 cooks and most hot.

    It’s unfortunate they don’t last. You’ve not had that grill very long, I had to pull mine at 6 months. Thanks for the video.

      I’ll say they last pretty long. Over 200 cooks in one year, most of them high temp grilling. I can’t complain.

      @@kamadobjorn Hi! Do you think maybe the heat from the rotisserie ring that sits between the base and the lid is reducing the life of the gasket? atleast i have a teori about that, after seeing BJ2 gasket getting rapidly worse after starting to use the rotisserie. (Hilsen Bjørn fra Norge :) )

      I don’t think so. But i’m not sure. I know what ruined my gasket. Lots of high heat pizza cooks.

      Front half of mine has come loose after owning it (a Classic III) from new for about 13 months. Probably used on average twice a week, but still, not a long time in my view for something this high end to be literally falling apart.

    I believe the recommended instructions is to tuck one end of the gasket into the other to join them.

    Bra video @kamadobjorn. Min packning har bara släppt i klistret. Packningen är fortfarande fin. Går det att köra silkonet runt hela omkretsen? Vilken packning har du köpt I denna videon?

    • @kamadobjorn
      @kamadobjorn  Před 3 lety

      Tackar! Det är en orginal kamadojoe packning. Silikonet går utmärkt att limma fast packningen med.

    Hey Bjorn how has it been since you ran your heat cycle and using the default (gasket got silicone glue'd) adhesive? I just received my warranty gasket replacement and am hoping I don't muck it up lol

      Ripped half of it off when removing the d&c rack a few weeks ago. Glued it back right away with silicone. Work great.
