Thanks for the kind words, Derek! Unfortunately I haven’t seen your video of the half-moon fretboard inlay, it was just something the customer wanted. But I’ll definitely check it out!
Wow that V is Sick ! I just got a Craftsman router and table from my Brother in laws Dad. He stopped doing Wood work. First thing I'm gonna try is making a pickguard templet 🎸😃
The guitar at 15:20 is heavily inspired by Hartung Guitars, to say the least.
You’re not wrong! I liked Frank’s idea of the top cuts but mixed a PRS, Knaggs, and some other stuff to get the outline shape. Always liked a lot of shapes and contours in the top.
I love the idea of the vintage guitar market but as a collector I hate when things get talked about online and then the prices get CRAZY.
Hey mate. I can see the 80s shredder guitars becoming more of a thing. Early BCRich and Charvel stuff. Never been a gibson guy so that's not my bag
Well us gen xers are starting to get to the point to replace the boomers as the target market so I'm guessing what was hot ticket items from the 70's and 80's going up. Kramer, Hamer, BC Rich and Ibanez models come to mind. Flying V's ala Randy Rhodes and the 80's metal scene. Explorers fall in there too. Teles, especially if you were into the country guys from the day. That's what's happening with the classic vehicle market, the cars and trucks we lusted after as kids are going up, 60's muscle cars and newer while the earlier 60's back stuff is dropping little by little
Gloves, Jewelry and Long Sleeves are the biggest causes of lost appendages.
true!
crap missed this .. :/
Gloves and loose clothing are always a bad idea around power tools. I know people who have wrapped arms up in drill presses because of gloves
