I’ve been using my UNO Synth since my first demo (3 years ago) and still it’s my goto monosynth. It still amazes me and just simply connecting it to an 88 through 37 key anything turns it into a synth worthy of any stage. IK should be really proud of themselves and the new Pro series. This video truly stands out. But then again, in the hands of a master, need I say more. Your pairing with the Vox is brilliant. The finest UNO video to date and I’ve watched them all, on purpose 😂🤣. IK has surprised me again…this is getting to be good habit 👍
Well it sounds fab, esp in your hands, but man... the choice of colour combination for shirt, the Uno, the V64, the background lights, jacket, it really deserves a hats off Matt... bravissimo!
Wow, great sounding little synth - especially in your talented hands. The vibe you created around 14:00 reminded me of Patrick Moraz in the 70's for some reason - which is so cool. Many thanks!
Matt you are the most funky, the most groovy keys player. I love the vibes. Excellent funky intention. Superb Sound mentalities. You could make a casio sound like absolute dirt funk. Love you and your channel absolutely rules!!
Loving your reviews, everything you touch is going to sell a shed load of. Great demo and keyboard lesson at the same time. Also a great sounding machine in your hands, very characterful.
DAMMMNNN MATT, you KILLED!!! I love the style that this synth evoked from you, VERY gritty and groovy ✌️ UNO should pay you for this demo. Also, it would be amazing if you compiled all of your demo stuff together 😊 I would let it loop all through the day. I love your playing! Simply legendary 🙌
I am doing some work while CZcams serves up your videos. I check specific gear out every so often but tonight I am just letting it roll. So darn relaxing and enjoyable...I really like your videos!
I had the original uno synth, and sometimes I wish I still did. The sequencer was great, and the parameter locking was a game changer for getting sounds other than sweeps out of parameters. The build left something to be desired which looks like they addressed with this newer version. The sound has always been great.
So sick dude! It really does sound good. Excellent content as always!! Your playing style is so cool.. I’ve had a lot of synths in the past and my favorite is the an1x, if you ever get your hands on one I would love to see that video!!
The combination of musical genius and synthesizer programming skill with Matt is just mind boggling. I'm sure the Uno is a great synth but to be fair even a dull synth would sound good under the care of Mr. Johnson 😉
I ended up scoring a used one, haven't gotten past scrolling the presets yet but it sounds great so far. Impressed with the build quality too, this sucker is heavy! This demo almost singlehandedly convinced me to get one, this board has a surprisingly small footprint on the web.
This reminds me of how the yamaha synths have been structured for years (each voice basically a complete sound in and of itself-it's own oscillator, filter, etc) combined with the flexibility, sequencing, and menu diving of the Alesis Micron
I love that you paired the synth with the clav in the matching colour, and then even chose a shirt to match! You are a product photographer's dream demonstrator :-)
@@ParsleyBass Aww, I realised my mistake while watching the rest of the video. I knew someone would call me out on it! I was just reminiscing about that cool Vibanet demo from last year and it must have distracted me...
Hi, Matt! Great jams as always! :) This gear seems to be very interesting! It would be awesome if MFB Synth Pro's creator put his polyphonic analog core into this "box" using UNO's logic! The collaboration should be great IMO!
Finally someone who can play instead of standing unrhythmically on a low C key and turning a resonance potentiometer. You can make a sound talk like the keyboardist of Mezzoforte. What a good demostration!
After listening to lots of Korg Modwave sounds and then coming and listening to you play this - sounds so much more capable of sounds I would actually use. I would love to hear you use the Korg Modwave too.
Nice showcase!nice to see Johnny has been doing great since he left Cobra Kai. You made me want to go and buy it! This is better that the official demo
i immediately thought of weather report. my concern is if I buy it those lovely sounds you used that none are built in and id have to figure it all out myself which im crap at. sounded incredible
Thanks for the review Matt. I was in 2 minds about this synth. I have the original Uno Synth and Uno Drum. I absolutely love both of them. Unfortunately, like this one, they both came unfinished! But about 18 months later the firmware has been updated to fix quite a lot of bugs. I also understand that there are future updates for this one. That's what's putting me off. Amazing sounds though.
Hi I love your videos you are a fabulous player, I was going to buy an arturia minibrute, but I feel saw this I really like it what do you think arturia minibrute or uno thanks 🎹🎼
I went out and bought this on the strength of the demo. You should get commissions. You put the synth in a musical context like no one else I’ve heard on CZcams 😁👍
Mr Matt! Thanks for the years of amazing music and content. Learned a lot from watching What are you using for the platform for the uno to sit flat on top of your EP? As a fellow vintage vibe piano lover, I need something similar
I just finally got mine and have been playing it alot. I think it sounds incredible. I am hoping to talk them into implementing expo glide and variable EG curves. I would love this to be my primary live soloing synth and it needs those things, drop them a line if you think that would be cool! One of my favorite patches i made for the Sub37 is a pedal steel thing, where it's duophonic and the mod wheel bends the bottom note up. The next patch I'm going to make with the USP is something similar, but I'll be able to make 3 note chords, and choose what note gets bent.
This sounds great. Especially in your hands. The base at around 10:06 is great and I could see a wry smile while you were playing. Dave Rossum filters so I believe. How do you think is compares to others at that price point.
It's sound=Fabulous.
Your playing=Magical.
I wish, the video was endless.
This is, as close to any synth heaven I can imagine.
No wonder companies send you their synths to review, IK could not have asked for a finer demonstration of their instrument. And nice jacket too:)

It's not the instrument, it's the player that makes it or breaks it... Matt always makes it. Cheers!
So many of your little jams, Matt, deserve to be tracks in their own right!
What a SOUND! What a wonderful, true magical demo performances here!! Thank you. Mr. Johnson! Your hands just a brilliant with the keys!
That was sublime, you are the MAN, Matt!!! Always inspiring listening to the way you hear sounds. Thank you for sharing!
You rock man!! So inspiring to see but hearing is beyond! Love what you do for the community! All the best!
Impressive sounding synth. You really bring out the character and capabilities. Thanks Matt.
Excellent video and excellent sounds of the new UNO! It does sound great!
This synth sounds so clean..thanks for showing this one Matt!👍🏻💯
sounds stunning - love your sound design and playing, just brilliant
Been eyeing this up, sounds great, thanks for the demo/review Matt.
This synth sounds fantastic in your hands 🙌🏻 🙏🏻😮

I could listen to an entire album of this!
Hey man, thanks for reviewing this new synth. It sounds cool. Great info.
I tell you something your one of the most interesting keyboardists I've ever heard.you make these things sing beautifully.brilliant video.
What a pleasant tone. I quite need this for my next project
So sick dude! It really does sound good. Excellent content as always!! Your playing style is so cool.. I’ve had a lot of synths in the past and my favorite is the an1x, if you ever get your hands on one I would love to see that video!!
Love the keystand on the vintage vibe too.
these patches are sick!! sound is beautiful.
Thanks Matt, your reviews are some the best around. 👊
Love the synth, love the variation on a theme of ‘A remark you made’
Yeah ❤️
The combination of musical genius and synthesizer programming skill with Matt is just mind boggling. I'm sure the Uno is a great synth but to be fair even a dull synth would sound good under the care of Mr. Johnson 😉
Sequencing bass loop sounded unreal. Sick!

I was just thinking of you yesterday matt. Hadn't seen a new video for a while.
Good to see this and you doing a great review!
Génial, merci Mr Johnson.
My favorite this synthesizer!!!) Bravo IK Multimedia
I got one of these this week. It has some great sounds. However, you make it sound much better than when I play it.
Nice one Matt, sounds great.
Love the lil stand that the Uno is on too. Coolness
Every Sound demo could be a Grammy award winning Track!
Absolutely brilliant Matt👍 One of the best demos of UNO Synth Pro✨
of any synth...
Super psyched you got a stand for the top of your Vintage Vibe :)
DOOD when you pulled out the Octatrack it was so nice. Such an inspiration man!
Great...I'll now have to add that to the list of synthesizers put on hold at my local music store...
@bobcat baldfat drunkbeater shop. Ye olde shope.
your playing is always so inspirationally awesome and tasty thank you so much for sharing and keep being awesome!! 🔥🔥🔥
this synth is a yes brainer
Dope sounds. Great presentation👍🏿
You are the master of modern synth funk.
interesting wee synth. some smashing tones. great vid as always.
Great playing and program that uno thanks for the videos I watch all your videos brilliant 👍🎼
I love that you paired the synth with the clav in the matching colour, and then even chose a shirt to match! You are a product photographer's dream demonstrator :-)
It's a Rhodes, not a Clav 😙 but yeah the colour-coordination est magnifico

@@tuftyindigo you should have used your ears then 😏 anyway you know the punishment, turn and face the wall. Any final words? 😋
@@ParsleyBass It's not a Rhodes either...

Great Review and BEASTLY JAM SESSION🔥whew!

sonido atómico y performance increíble. como siempre... saludos
Matt, another fantastic demo-hope you are well

Lovely sounds , wish I had your talent
Thanks for the great overview, got one yesterday - it´s on sale at Thomann for around 400 bucks...great deal...
Love it! What is the stand the keyboard is sitting on?
This synth is going to be perfect with my microfreak
Thank you Matt!!!
i immediately thought of weather report. my concern is if I buy it those lovely sounds you used that none are built in and id have to figure it all out myself which im crap at. sounded incredible
He could make a casio kids keyboard sound sweet
Kudos to them for providing a playable version. Wish it happened more often.
Can you eleborate on what you meant with this?

Nice review Matt. Thank you very much. By 15:20 sounds like a wicked videogame tune, I really liked it.
nice demo i love everything orange !!
Your review/demo has confirmed my purchase. They were right to send it your way.
I like the faintly ARP vibe to the colourways!
Damn that color coordinated keyboard, synth, & shirt 😂

11 minutes in, just beautiful.
It's actually got a really nice build quality that is impossible to tell from their marketing images.
Awesome demo🔥🙌🏽

totally agree. I was on the fence... but seeing this video has sold me!
I love my uno drum!
Any synth sounds good when you can play like this guy!
love that patch at 12.33 took me right back to wearing white slip on's and listening to jan hammer
Mr Matt! Thanks for the years of amazing music and content. Learned a lot from watching

It’s almost like a 70s Italian string/orchestrator synth but with presets, sequencing and more effects.
And just ONE voice…
@@natura808 3 in paraphonic mode.
13:00 sounds like some obscure woodwind, or maybe a special bassoon that only exists in Narnia.
Good demo on this synth!
Shades of orange looks (and sounds) great :)
The price is the same as the Yamaha DJX - PSRD1 when it came out in the late 1990's. Both are priced like a toy, but have amazing power.
Damn, love your playing style
Love your feel, would love to buy an album full of your mid 70s laid back melodies for chill like at 8:40,10:25....
Great video, you make it sound ridiculously good.
More (MORE) sounds please.
Shame about all the adverts but I guess that CZcams now.
From mexico city again thanks fantastic fingers 🖐️
I'm italian... and i really love your jacket!
you should do a video with the UNO and the UDO together! Those patches are super cool. Thank you for the video.
Anyone else more surprised at how competently he’s using the Octatrack as a drum machine?

How is this compared to the Sub 37? Been trying to feel out if I can get by without dropping 1200+ on the Sub when this gets so close it seems
