David Roland Hooper, also known as David Sooper, is an American musician born in Houston, Texas. With over 12 years of musical experience in Los Angeles, he was part of some of the biggest R&B and funk bands in California, including Hollywood, Another Level, and Sooper Experience Band. After playing to international audiences in places like Hong Kong, he decided to settle in Spain, where he performed for six months at the Hyatt Principe Felipe hotel in La Manga del Mar Menor.
Since his return to Los Angeles, and his subsequent return to Murcia in the fall of 1999, David Sooper has been performing in various clubs and concert halls throughout Spain. Throughout these years, he has collaborated with some of the legends of Spanish music such as Pepe Bao, Santiago Campillo (M-CLAN), Carlos Segarra (LOS REBELDES) and Raimundo Amador, in addition to having been a contestant in the first edition of the FACTOR X talent show.

Since I was very young, music has been my great love and I have dedicated my life to it. Born in Houston, Texas, I had the opportunity to live in Los Angeles for 12 years, where I was part of important California R&B and funk bands such as “Hollywood”, “Another Level” and “Sooper Experience Band”.
Under the name David Hooper, he recorded the album "Believe In Me" in Houston, Texas, which made him known in the music world.
David Sooper recorded "It's My Turn", his first album in Spanish with Tucxone Records in Madrid in December 2015, considered the best soul album in Spain. His latest musical project, "THE PARTY SONG", produced and composed by David Sooper himself, consists of nine songs that combine funky music and dance rhythms with guitar chords and a powerful and expressive voice, which makes it unforgettable and tremendously attractive for any listener.
