This is literally the only video I could find that addresses this subject/technique. Pulling out the frame from under my Tacoma by myself took the better part of a day due to all the rusted fasteners. Hopefully putting the new to me frame in goes without a hitch. THANK YOU for making this video.

It should take a good shop about a day if the only thing that needs replacing is the frame.
Figure in bolts and new parts if you do go that route.

I swapped the frame on my 2000 tundra using this method. Including changing the necessary items from the old frame to the new frame, redoing control arms, coil springs, rear shocks, rack and pinion, tie rods, and front differential, I completed the job at just under 120 hours. But that is EVERYTHING.

The 4X4 and the 2wd Prerunner are the same frame. Of course it has to be Xtra Cab or 4dr if your 4wd is. The Prerunner is a six lug 2wd. It is the only 2wd drive that can interchange with the 4wd. If your 2wd is 5 lug, it is a no go.
