@@Gauntlet_ AMD pretty much wins in value up to the 4070. Only reason to get 4060 Ti is for Nvidia features, DLSS, ray tracing, streaming, encoding, etc

@@Gauntlet_ Ray tracing and DLSS is performance. Once you play Cyberpunk with RT on, you will never go back. AMD simply cant do it. 7900 XTX ray tracing performance is the same as 4070 super.

6700XT does seem better even if it doesn't have DLSS (also you can use XeSS 1.3 and enjoy better upscaler than FSR) + currently the 6750XT (so not even the 6700XT) is 20% cheaper than cheapest 4060 Ti 8GB ($300 vs $375)

How long will be 8gb vram enough? I thought maybe go for the 4060ti but the amd card has 12GB. I think that's more Future proof. Normally i change every 3-4 years my card
8gb will still be enough for 1080p for a couple more years. Just lower down some settings in case youre having trouble.

It's just bigger, by a decent margain. Only worth the upgrade if you REALLY need a big screen, or you're upgrading the refresh rate.

so you want murky half loaded textures and a bad input lag... to play what? 2 games that have actual RT in them... raster in native is what matters, no matter what brand you preff and A BIG one is, FPS per $$

4060ti is not capable of RT. It must be 60fps and 1440p or higher. Anybody buying a gpu for RT is not buying a 4060ti. 4070 ti and up, period. Also I have 2 cards from each AMD and Nvidia. I cannot notice a difference in upscalers while playing. I would have to have side by side monitors and zoom in 50% on the edges of small items like hair. And I do not care. Both look great! And can give you consistent 60fps(playable) experience.

@@guntherschultz912 you want 2K native but not 4060ti which is a 1080p gpu, I understand your needs, you want 60 fps ok that's good, for FPS games RT is not necessary and the same goes for older games, performance AMD's purity here is attractive at its price, but if you want to play games with RT, the nvidia gpu is the best choice including the RTX 4060ti, if using RT of course you still need to have Dlss but even with 1080p Dlss the quality mode is still better than 1080p native TAA that's the truth, you just need to buy what suits you, none of the GPUs on either side are really bad just for your needs not suitable, but for the higher segment, it's true that the rtx 4090 is still the leader in everything, it uses less power than the 7900xtx, is cooler, more powerful in every way except price
