Simon, a knight-in-training is given the task of killing a Gorgon who has been terrorising the kingdom. His king tells him the Gorgon is dangerous but bringing him its head will earn him his knighthood. Is the Gorgon really as horrid as the king claims or is it just misunderstood?

Ok but what if female gorgon's are more bloodthirsty and dangerous but male ones are such a anomaly that they are the opposite of the females instead of bloodthirst they just want to be left alone but will defend themselfs or others so if you pissed off a female that's normal but piss off a male you done goofed also I imagine males are more soft featured then their female counter parts so they are more easy on the eyes (heh) so yeah that's a thought

technically they must have been sa'd because thats how medusa got turned into a gorgon. but it could be like how the male mosquito is less vicious and will stay with the female (protect them and shit) but the female will eventually just eat them, showing that a female counterpart is more vicious, but the male countepart are more protective?

Okay, but I really love this take on gorgons so far. It's an interesting concept having a creature that's seen as a monster despite the fact that (in this case) he's only protecting himself.

I’ve only turned one (1) person into stone, the rest are just my sculptings
I must admit, they actually do look really cool, i just use my spare time to make dioramas, they just happened to catch me making them and well, they wanted to by them
idea (if its okay) : A older knight find an orphan child crying after watching their family get slain, He comforts them and visits them everyday

It was hard to make clear what myth I was using; but it's the Gorgon's face, not just his eyes, that activates the power. I thought it'd be a bit rude to shove some kinda of bag on his head.
