Anyway, I'm glad they've not only found a new home, but a new community who has clearly taken both of them in as well. While it's a lot more clear with Simon going to school and whatnot, the fact the blacksmith even considered letting the gorgon work for them is definitely a step up from the way the previous kingdom kept him away. While I may need to hear about more interactions to figure out whether or not they truly see the gorgon as part of their community, or reluctantly let him in because of his friend/roommate Simon.
Also, going to school with Simon sounds like it could be interesting (and I wonder if Simon will be right about them being happy to have the gorgon in their school building).
All in all, you did an awesome job as usual, Tobi. This was a lovely addition to a series that I already adored so flipping much.

Ok I had a really good thought on why the king wants us dead so hear me out, the queen was a gorgon and she didn't tell the king but the king wanted a daughter so he could replace his wife with the same daughter like he's done many time and no one knows but once he found out it was a son the queen ran away and took her son with her and gave birth and then she raised us but was killed and no one knew the son was born u til the number if knights went down and then the ki g went after us and we then were cursed by a dark wizard who was sent by the king to never be loved and only to be alone forever and once that happened 5 years went by and them we found the one who was him and all we need is to get married to be cured and to be turned human again because we never inherited anything from our mom other then her eyes and powers but her appearance was a no no we do have her hair as well and her body build but everything else was a nope.
