    but how can we know that the load vs deflection curve is correct. With what did they compare this abaqus result to say that, this is perfect geometric nonlinear example. Can anyone answer to my question.

    Very interesting and clear video, but I have a question about the load/increment plot at 25:00: Since the load is plotted in Y-direction, isn't the load decreasing after 0.60 because the orientation of the load vector is rotating together with the point to which it is applied? Which of course results in a decrease of force in Y-direction but an increase of force in X- and Z-direction?

      Yes. Even I had the same doubt. Since, a load in the y direction is being plotted and as the "follow nodal rotation" check box was checked in the load module the plot does not exactly capture the total force applied at the nodes.
