Why have u used state variables for stress input and not stress values are available at the start of the subroutine???

I do not exactly follow your question.

Hello Kian, do you have a way to contact you? I am a student working on my thesis and I need to program an UMAT for a non-linear geometry problem but using a transversely isotropic material with some properties dependent on the transverse strain and I would like to ask you a few questions. Is this possible? If so, please provide here an email or a way to contact you. Thank you in advance !

Thanks. Although this kind of material is not in my field of expertise, I will try.
