CampSnap just recently came out with this digital disposable camera that takes photos that look like film, without the confusing processing and digitizing. For $65, you get an disposable camera that emulates film, and takes infinite photos. While it almost sounds too good to be true, this camera leans into that disposable look, so don't expect any crazy high resolution photos. However, for someone who wants to start getting into film photography, get the vintage photo look, or for kids, this could be the perfect camera. It was initially created in response to the lack of a reliable, affordable option for kids at summer camp, but has evolved into a camera that kids and hipsters love alike!

Not an ad. Got sent the camera to give my honest review, and have really enjoyed it so far. To be honest, I was unsure how much I would like it but have been really enjoying it!
Thanks for the code I'm excited to get mine
Superb Review! The only review that actually acknowledges what the camera is supposed to be. I purchased it for my upcoming trips and will be used heavily in Japan. Your review just made me more hype about this camera.
The best video of a Camp Snap camera I’ve seen. Superb photo samples. I really love the photos around the swimming pool!
Same I love the pool and the school pictures
I just ordered one and have been watching videos to see what people thought. I have tons of other cameras, but just thought this was fun. Your review was helpful. :)
when I saw the thumbnail, i thought i would hate it, but after watching it I want one
Yeah, honestly, same, haha. But have really enjoyed it so far!
Thanks for your discount code!
So you can pull the images off the camera bia usbc to usbc, correct? I dont use a pc for edits, i just use lightroom mobile. I imagine you can edit images from this camera in LR?😊
How do you preload the filters on the camera?
I am getting major banding when using flash. I contacted them earlier today and we’ll see if it’s a sensor or flash issue
how did that work out? I have one of these on order. Not expecting much.
Have you printed out any photos and if so how did they look
Good job, I just bought one online using your code!
How is it?
@@jakefarm1280 mine’s got issues and no response from the seller. green tinting all across the left side of all color photos.
Any way to change out the battery?
One thing you didn't explain was how to get the photos off the camera. Is it through USB or SD? I am also still confused if it's just a disposable design or if t's actually a disposable camera that is meant to be throw away. I would hope it's not the latter since that would be silly in this day and age. I already hate that disposable film cameras still exist as they just end up in landfills after use and in my opinion, there isn't much point to having them around when companies can easily make reloadable ones.
The camera allows you to shoot as many photos as you'd like without needing film or to buy a new camera. $60 = infinite film like photos.
The get the photos off the camera via a small micro USB in the camera!
@@metalfingersfilm Good to hear! I like this product a lot more now lol
How do recommend to print the photos?
Your photos are dooope!
Thanks homie!
wait a minute, that's mike crivellos. you in wi? nice!
shit, I think i need to take a serious look at this camera, seem pretty nice!
Yeah I've really been enjoying it so far!!
10/10 and not just because I'm in this video.
Hahaha
Waiiiittttt, the guy that hit that viral “that’s my dawgs” dance created this camera????
lmao it does look just like him!
I'm selling mine after 4 month and 500 images later. Good looking camera but by far the worst camera I've used. Including hundereds of disposable 35mm cameras, 3mp digital cameras from early 2000 etc. I hoped it would be so much better. A waste of time to be honest. I find the 8mp feel more like 1mp. I think the resolution of the lens is way less than 8mp. I had it with me on a 3 month roadtrip through 7 countries. The only positive part is its looks which is a conversation starter which has given me good images/portraits etc with my other camera
Mate it’s £50 😂 what were you expecting
@@cowboy8968 with Shipping and tolls I paid ca 80 euros for it. I was expecting at least ok images. Maybe some decent 10x15cm prints which I can get from disposable 35mm cameras. I really wanted to like this camera. I could have paid 200euros if it would have had a better sensor, shutterbutton and optics.
Ty for the discount, daddy
Very welcome, son 🤝
It's cute, but come on, for $60 they couldn't even do a xenon flash?
I'd just give my kids one of those cheap point and shoot 35mm cameras, because by the age they'd go to summer camp, I'd make sure they know how to use a camera properly.
Are these photos edited or are they straight out of camera?
the black and white are straight out of camera, the color ones are tweaked slightly for exposure on my iPhone!
Ummm the discount does not work
discount code doesn’t work any chance there’s a new one?
it still does not work for me ): please update with new one, I want to buy one today
code is back to mffilm@@katrinango5490

Ohhhhh
Surprised at how much I've been enjoying it!!
Is this an ad?
🤔
Not an ad. Got sent the camera to give my honest review, and have really enjoyed it so far. To be honest, I was unsure how much I would like and use it, with all my other cameras. But I find myself grabbing it more and more lately. Was stoked to be able to get a code for you guys to save some money, if there was interest!
Shame about the e-waste implied with this product. I cant' see a circular recycling policy on their website - our landfills and water courses do not need more heavy metals leaching in them. 'Fun' disposable cameras for today a problem for the citizens of another generation.
I think the idea is stop the huge amount of waste that is generated by disposable cameras. This camera is made to be used for hundreds of photos, instead of turning into junk after just 24 or 36 exposures.
@@metalfingersfilm Fair point re its longer use of life than the 35mm disposable :) I do still baulk at the term 'digital disposable' - which is how many people will view this product. It's a shame the Camp Snap website doesn't have any guidance re safely e-waste recycling the camera once the user has grown tired of it. Hopefully they make something of this in the product docs when shipped. All this aside, it does look a great entry-route in to photography :)
@@andrewgifford7740 I mean, do all products highlights their recycling efforts? For such a small company like this, personally, who is not selling a product to be thrown out, I don't feel as though that's their responsibility? It's not like Fuji sells their cameras and has a way to have the user send it back when they're done using to get recycled?
@@metalfingersfilm To be fair setting up a recycling scheme would be expensive for a small business, so I'm being rather unfair in my idealism. But I can't help but feel concerned about the connotations of this being a disposable product, as heavy metals are problematic when lumped in with general trash. Indeed we all can and must do better, and it's unfortunate to single out this small company as I have, which is clearly trying to make photography accessible and affordable, which is commendable. An easy solution is to include some guidance on the website and product docs that it's not to be binned in the same way that 35mm disposables once were, instead treated as e-waste and put in kerbside or similar e-waste schemes wherever possible.
Whenever i see clickbaity and atrocious titles like this i know i can block the channel and not lose anything of value
Did you even watch the video? What would be a better title? "New Camera Review" 😭
Idek how this is clickbait, it literally describes the camera in the shortest means possible.
The title isn't "Greatest $60 Camera Ever" or something lol
Ok boomer
