I'm American and I used to work on Crete. Whenever I smell olives it brings back memories of Crete. I had a favorite Gyro shop in Hania. I'd finish my night of drinking and get a gyro sandwhich with a big handfull of french fries wrapped up in the sandwhich! I never did figure out what kind of grilled meat was used though.

Ahmad Aburahma yes big eyes is the signature trait for Greek women. But unlike other parts of Europe, the women in Greece can look like all types. Some look German with light hair and blue eyes, some darker like Mediterranean. They are very beautiful and have something special to their look in my opinion. But like all countries in the world, there are beautiful, in between and then not so beautiful lol.
