Thank you for being in the cold to film this video. Being in central Ohio, everything is brown and grey. It is nice to see some snow.
I really enjoy the hostels and towns that one enjoys and the reasons why when hiking the AT.
I also enjoyed your podcast with Kyle!!!

Saturday, January 27th: Franklin is a personal favorite of mine. Free church breakfast was nice. Good memories. Happy Trails!

    Hey, howdy! Beautiful snow-covered scenery!
Hiawassee, Franklin, Hot Springs, Erwin at the beginning were my favorites, because these were resupply towns where I learned to plan my food carries, got a shower, and ate "Town Food".
Regarding Hostels: some "purists" avoid them, but I needed them for dealing with plantar fasciitis, and consider their value to be more a psychological boost to a trail-weary mind and body.
Watching this in my Lightheart Gear hoodie. I bought it at Hostel Around the Bend after having sent my TNF hoodie home much too early. So comfortable! The hair tie hack was genius!

Good to see you again. I too am a foam pad in the hammock kind of human!😃👍🏼. When it's cold out I add a 6' piece of reflectix under my blue mat for extra warmth. I'm not sure what all the fuss is about how it slides around and away from one's body. Mine stays put and keeps me warm. On Facebook there's a page for folks selling cottage hammock gear and an awful lot of quilts get sold there. I think the pad system is just fine. That's the basis of a hennessey hammock.
Anyway... great to see you so happy!😊. Someone already said this but if that's coffee, I need to send you a recipe... on how to make coffee!!🤣🤣.
    Take care and happy spring!

Condiments!! I was a young bachelor and didn't have much for food. But, I had a plethora of condiments. 😂 It made Ramen interesting for sure. 👏 to the bear can; nice seat and dry storage. This Mainah is proud you enjoyed Rangely. Take care TC ✌️

Wonderful summary! Ditto on The Maine Roadhouse! Great place to zero as well. Sorry I didn’t bump into you on the trail last year.

I first encountered Cheerwine when I lived in the Caribbean . We'd get South American Sodas and Cheerwine. I'm glad I can still find it in Central Florida.

As always, besides your genuiness, I got some great "take aways". Thank you!!
I just got back from Hangcon in Florida where they showed us how to make pot coosies and the one for insulting your meals as they hydrate. I'm so thankful to know that it was well worth taking along. I know it keeps the tea warm in that metal cup. Happy Trails!

How do you get permission to use that little AT logo you put on the corner of the videos? I am trying to vlog my thru-hike and would like to have the logo on the videos' CZcams freeze like yours.
