Hey! Awesome video. I have a 5.7 rt charger and I want a borla atak with valve simulators as well. I have a stock exhaust with a mid muffler delete and it’s pretty damn loud. If I get a borla atak will it be louder than what I have already? I have a 2019 Daytona 5.7 so I have the exact same stock exhaust as the hellcat and scat pack models.
Thank you for liking the video. Based on my research the Borla Atak system for the 5.7 R/T is slightly different than the system for the Hellcat. Instead of a valve simulator option, they offer a system with valves or without valves depending on what your stock system currently has. If your Daytona has valves, get the system with the valve option. As for the loudness, this system should be quieter than a mid muffler delete. This Borla Atak system offers the same rear muffler setup as the Scatpack & Hellcat, and still offers an awesome growl than Borla is famous for. Plus this system increases horsepower & fuel economy vs. the stock system or stock system w mid muffler delete. Hope this helps.

Hi Dillon. Thank you for the comment and the subscribe. Check out my 2 POV videos. 1 in April and the other I posted this week. It does crackle and pop a little whenever you let off the gas. However, its pops & crackles way more in the Trackhawk vs Hellcat. Both systems sound awesome thou , Highly Recommended. Thanks again for the comment. Enjoy the Journey on my Channel. Curious after some miles have you ever got a CEL code. I've read a lot of forum threads and I know the first full year of production seems like there were some issues with the simulators and lots of users throwing CEL codes because of them.

Thank you for the comment. I agree. There should have been a Manual valve open/close option like the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 has. Maybe someday Borla will make one for us! 🤷♂️😎👍
can anyone give some info on why one would go with active valve simulators rather then the one including the actual valves? I have a 2020 widebody challenger an i’m trying too figure out which one too get
Great question and thanks for the comment. I did the Valve simulators for 2 reasons. 1. I wanted to hear the exhaust full send all the time 2. The Valves were only Warranted for 1 year and didn’t want to experience a failure which could either hurt performance or worse case, damage the engine if Valves were stuck closed . The only negative of having the Valve simulators are the Cold Starts… they are extremely louder than stock.

Hey I installed the same system recently and having some sort of drone when I put the car in reverse or when I tap on the accel pedal a little (around 12-1300rpm) wonder if you encountered something like this?
Thanks for the question Anh I didn’t experience any Drone after installing the Borla Atak on my Charger Hellcat. I was actually missing it , it was so quiet inside, but Very Load outside.

Hello to you in Japan. Thank you for the question. The Borla Atak is definitely louder than the Stock system. In order of Loud... 1. Borla Atak, 2 Mid Muffler Delete 3. Borla S-Type. 4. Stock. Hope this helps.

Simulators worked perfectly. Never threw any codes.
Should I get the exhaust without the valves or with?
I absolutely love Borla Atak System without the valves for 2 reasons….. 1. Has the full send Sound all the time. 2. Although the Exhaust has a Million Mile warranty, the Valves only have a 1 year warranty. Not worth the risk if they fail…. Hope this helps 😎👍
