There's Jo Joyner- Tanya Branning/Lynda (9th Doctor Series 1) Bonnie Langford- Carmel Kazemi/Melanie Bush (7th Doctor's Companion) Jamie Foreman- Derek Branning/ Eddie Connolly (10th Doctor Series 2)
Yep, and that was only a year before EastEnders first started, where of course Grantham was in the very first scene of the very first episode and had the very first line "God! It stinks in here, don't it?".
The funny thing is that Den Watts in the Doctor Who universe comes back as a ghost in EastEnders played by a cyberman and Yvonne is played by the same person as Chrissie Watts, otherwise known as his killer.
Although there was an EastEnders/Corrie crossover for Children in Need over a decade ago. EastEnders characters visited Weatherfield while Corrie characters visited Walford. Gail and Denise Fox have a little competition by sharing past experiences of their murderous husbands and seeing which was the worst. So I guess that was closest Gail got to appearing in EastEnders lol
Hey, I don't know if I'm remembering this correctly, but round the time of Doctor Who's 50th anniversary in 2013, I think various BBC shows each had a brief moment where a little TARDIS was sitting around somewhere in shot as an easter egg. Almost like a subtle way for other shows to acknowledge Doctor Who's anniversary. In EastEnders, I think it was sitting somewhere in the Vic. Don't suppose anyone can confirm this and remember the airdate of that particular episode?
Looks like this is only featuring EastEnders actors who have appeared in the revived era. There's also Lisa, Lucy Benjamin, who briefly appears as young Nyssa in "Mawdryn Undead".
the actor who plays Nish panesar in eastenders is also in doctor who in series 1, ep World War 3

Michelle Collins as Cindy Beale was in it
"No turning back? That's almost as bad as "Nothing can possibly go wrong" or "This is gonna be the best Christmas Walford's ever had!"
Dot was on The Time Warrior. And she looks about as old there as she does now.

And then Yvonne gets converted into a Cyberman. How ironic lol
