    VERY impressed, as a lover of cranes and shovels of all kinds, I've dreamed of building something like this along with many other things, but life, energy, and resources are too short and you have to focus on what is most important. Looks wonderful and hope you have many satisfying hours on it.

    Real good work on the cutting parts. Accuracy is top notch. Just the welding leaves plenty to be desired. Pity cuz the parts/fitment are top class.

    • @MotorSwapDan
      @MotorSwapDan Před 3 lety

      The welding is fine. Most of the welds do not carry loads anyways. This is an epic project!

    • @Farmer1277
      @Farmer1277 Před 3 lety

      @@MotorSwapDan no, those welds look like hot garbage and very inconsistent.

    I'm not sure if that was effect of the camera rate, but it sure seemed like you were turning that reamer backwards.

    Hello, I like your videos in this subject, and I want also to make my own excavator. Do you have some literature for calculation and dimensioning of excavator, or some plan of parts and construction. If you have will you share it with me. I will be thanksfull

    Hello sir, why do you use multiple layer for your boom instead one thick metal ??

    • @AlfaSeven
      @AlfaSeven  Před 4 lety

      That would make a heavier boom. Now it is thick where it needs to be thick. 🙂

    i AM IMPRESSED! I like your workmanship, I like the quality of the steel that your using ( I see no rough cuts, rough filings, or scratches ). Did you laser cut all the parts? - or was this kit maybe? I even like the way your wire welder is setup because the welding is so even sounding - ya know like bacon sizzling? - the way it should sound.

    • @AlfaSeven
      @AlfaSeven  Před 3 lety

      Thanks :)
      Yes it is laser cut. No kit, it is my own design

  • @revealedfromonhigh

    How much would you say this cost you to build?

    • @AlfaSeven
      @AlfaSeven  Před 3 lety

      I will guess 5k euros. But some parts like engine, pumps etc are used parts.

    Видос класс,но зачем лишний палец и 2 полумесяца. Можно как на нормальном экскаваторе сделать, надёжнее будет
