Thanks Isabella and Fabian for an excellent tour of this vehicle the thinking behind the interior and exterior storage is very good. My only negative would be for the Green in the toilet/shower compartment, Green is my favourite colour but not in this application.

i love both trucks maybe little smaller for me like Steyr, Iveco Daily or Unimog, the mosquito net very good idea but very inconvenient to go in and out the best setup is with magnetics on the sides you just push it go in and out

9:47 noticed that the electrical wires are ran thru a metal square harness. This is by code in some Countries. It is dangerous to leave the wires exposed. My Congrats to the Builder. Also, how do u ground the Motorhome or all devices on board? In the Caravan medical field, this is a must to protect the Operators and equipment.

Great video again guys, question though... Do either of you know the overall weight of the habitation unit on it's own before it is fitted to the HGV.. Building my own next year, just getting ideas together.
Already decided the Base Vehicle (Merc Atego) but need to work out what class would work best (can drive 8.25 ton at the moment). Probably have to get the 32 ton rigid class licence but would be nice if I could get it to fit on a 7.5 t dreaming....

Great video. One part you skipped over in my opinion is what was that table stand? It looks powered and collapsable. I am looking for something exactly like that for our build. Do you, or anyone on this thread know?

I question if one of these large expedition cruisers (there are many brands) could access many of the off-road trails in the USA because these cruisers are very wide and quite tall. They seem to be more at home in the wide open SW region of the USA, or Africa, the Australian outback region, and other wide open terrains. In Colorado, Montana, Idaho, and the such, the trails are narrow, tree lined, and I would imagine unwelcoming to a vehicle as wide and tall as these cruisers. I think of a trail like Imogene Pass in Colorado, and I wonder if a cruiser could navigate something like this trail. Thoughts?

The reason for my message is that I was watching your Truck Full tour Video your Truck looks awesome.
Looking at your solar system I realised that you are using the semi flexible Panels on the roof.
Are you happy with this option, many Motor homes owner and dealer do not recommend mounting the semi flexible Panels because they are not reliable and the tend to overheat? Is this an issue which you faced since you mounted the panels?
Since when do you have system and which brand you chose for the panels?

This particular truck on MAN Chassis was only filmed by us. So about the stick on panels we can only tell you that we could not hear anything bad about it, but we are not using them on our truck and at the moment also not planning tk use them on our new truck that is under construction at the moment. This design is better for me.. Bed should be at the end of the truck and seats too its more spacious look.. Other designs are seats are on the front of the cabin which is not good for me you can't see the road while riding if you ate 4-5 person inside

Hi Aastan! The explanation was too long, but basically is that while you are waiting for the mosquito net to open or close, come inside the truck a lot of mosquitos. And the other reason he is not a big fan of this system is because is connected with the inverter and if for some reason the inverter get off and you are outside the truck them you get stuck out... thanks for following! 😎😊😉
