Most brands have that drying ingredient just like you said. It is what gets people "addicted" to lip balm. Natural ones are so much better :)

I was using the Lush “New” solid shampoo (which I love ❤️) but decided to try the MMT Rosemary Avocado shampoo bar. I’m actually really impressed! 👍🏼 Not my favorite smell since I love a more spicy autumn scent but it seemed to rinse out easily. I only massage it on and near my scalp, never on the length and ends of my hair.

azkaland hey Abby! I wanted to give you an update: I tried the rosemary avocado shampoo bar on the length of my hair to rinse out a hair treatment and I can feel a waxy coating for the past week and a half even though I’ve tried to only shampoo my roots since then. ☹️

If you’re still looking for a good shampoo bar cult and king makes an amazing one that is SLS free but they don’t recommend it for color treated hair.
