  • Kudirat Abiola - the wife of MKO Abiola was assassinated in cold bold on the street of Lagos State, Nigeria at a time that the military was in power in the country. This video is a narration of the unfortunate story of her gruesome murder. A couple of persons were later arrested and charged to court but two were found guilty and sentenced to death by hanging. On appeal to the appellate court, they were acquitted and discharged for reason that the prosecution did not prove the allegations beyond reasonable doubt. Kudirat was loved by many and her memory remains fresh in the minds of several persons across the world.

I emphatize the Abiola's over the demise of Kudirat. She was a strong willed woman, who continued were her husband stopped. May her soul rest in peace. ....and if Abacha's govt ordered the hit on Kudirat Abiola, how come MKO Abiola died a month after Abacha died? Logically, if they kill Abiola while in detention, his wife won't carry out activities that challenge the government's decision. This means that Al-Mustapha knew nothing about the plan to assassinate Late Kudirat because he had every opportunity to have her husband killed but didn't do it. Sgt Rogers lied in Oputa Panel because Abdulsalam and Obasanjo's government alongside other prominent Nigerians wanted to smear Abacha's name and all his loyalists.

I like the metaphor of the rats… but i pose a question-I’m not sure if the evil ones come inside because they are beckoned to by another. Does the rat REALLY go out of its shelter, wasting its own time inviting others, when it would rather conserve the supplies it has on its own?? Evil finds its own way… o such as the “others” simply becoming nosey and breaking inside, where they were not even belonging to begin with? I see that being more likely. Whenever “rodents” or evil ones invade a safe space it’s because they found a way and wanted in for themselves. They smell opportunities, or they smelled food, shelter, etc. it’s possible they smell their friends’ shit too… 💩😂but I highly doubt if one risks their own wealth and safety, to share w others, and thus goes out to beckon others inside.

I'm just curious, because assassinating someone in this manner means they are a high level threat to your life or business.
what did Abacha stand to gain from assassinating Kudirat in this manner? he could've simply had her arrested for Political subversion and remove her as an obstacle without bloodshed and a public scrutiny which would only make his position as Head of State shaky in public opinion.
If Abacha really was behind it, then it was a very bad political decision, and yet, I can't help the feeling that it's not such a simple black and white case. Something tells me that Kudirat died because of crucial business decisions and events related to her husband, Abiola, who as Fela said, made his money through corrupt business alliances and acquaintances (I.T.T., etc.) Kudirat may very likely have been killed by criminal business associates of Abiola to get back at him, and the assassination made to look like the order of a crazy dictator.
I don't know, but the official version seems too easy and simple and from my research into events like these around the globe, from America to Congo, these things are never black and white.

Do u know what happened to this family can indirectly repeated and happen to a Yoruba man again. Bcoz the candidate Nigeria youths are clamoring about now, he has the support of all this ex military personnel that took the government since that till date . Remember this people don’t want real politician that can’t listen to their commands. Military is still ruling Nigerians indirectly.
