That is my Daddy leading the parade in this video.👏🏾🥳🥹❤️
I am super proud of the merit system within the Nigerian Military. Despite being from the South, he was steadily promoted when due. He led many senior appointments and retired as a General of the Nigerian Army.
Thanks so much for this video. ❤

The man has always been lucky all his narrowly escaping death on several occasions. He survived the civil war , assassination attempt, and in prison under Sani Abacha when he was accused of plotting to overthrow the federal government in a violent military coup. Arms and ammunition was reportedly planted in his farm at Otta to implicate and finally have him executed. The man survived and came out from prison to become president. He is still alive and plays football and squash at over 90 .

What is the summation of the presidency of OBJ? Did make Nigeria better, did he take Nigeria to a greater height? The answer is a capital no. He brought the country to her knees. The prices of everything sky rocketed and corruption became worse. There's nothing to celebrate about Nigerian leaders, only that the new always takes over from the bad and make it worse.

You have the whole thing mixed up.
Technically, Bukar Suka Dimka isn't even a core northerner. He's from a middle belt tribe. Today's Plateau state.
So I'm not sure what you meant by 'Northerner'.
Secondly, I myself DON'T think the 1966 January coup was an igbo coup.
But the hard nut that has remained uncrackable is that NO Senior igbo leader was killed - Civilian /Military.
None. I'd have been much easier to shoot things if a major igbo leader was killed.
May God help us learn from the past.
