    It`s overwhelming to get to know so many different ethnic groups and their traditional culture by your videos.There is such an abundance of cultural diversity in GB. People in the world should learn about it, so that the country becomes a sought destination for international tourism. You are doing a great job with highlighting these scenes from actual life. 🙂

    Balanta means those who resist, Balanta are one of the ethnic group that fought and colonialism and resist because of their fighting spirit and organization

    Just found out all the way from the US that my father’s Afrikan ancestry is both Fula and Balanta. I would love to learn as much as I can about these tribes. Are the Balanta considered ethnically Bantu?

      Bantu is an artificial term. Balanta are an African ethnic group of Guinea-Bissau.
