- During Dragon Ball Z: The History of Trunks we see a bleak future where the Z fighetrs have died at the hands of Androids 17 and 18. But a savior stands in their way, the last remaining super warrior: Future Gohan. But how did we get there? How did Gohan get Super Saiyan and continue to fight and train Trunks? Okay why on Earth would go on and say there's no way to find new namek did he even forget that there's King Kai he could have asked to speak to King kai
Piccolo loves sacrificing himself like he isn't tied to the Dragon Balls.
But it would've been interesting if Gohan died and Piccolo escaped so Gohan could train with Goku and King Kai while waiting to be revived.
Man has to protect his kid.

I love gohan but damn him seeing vegeta die right before his eyes and calling out to his father... the trauma this boy went through was too much. Legit got me in tears great what if but i genuinely cant enjoy it im so sad rn.
Vegeta really sold the bag by letting his pride get the better of him, Gohan and vegeta with 3 years of training would’ve been enough

I thinks Goku could do something to save the timeline before his death like REALLY passing on EVERYTHING to Gohan. So uh here's my own way of interpret of "What if Gohan save the future"
Goku knew he have heart virus a bit early(maybe Kami or Baba seeing his death, he visit them because he got a "bad" feeling" and try to use Dragonball but Bulma just use it for cosmetic like 1 month ago so it's no longer a choice. So Goku have to pass down everything to Gohan so he could have knowledge, including Time chamber and How to train himself. I think it's similar to Salad saiyan what if Gohan and Trunks win but my interpretation of this to emphasis on how much Goku willing to trust in his son for the earth future

That stuff about Goku and Vegeta never being able to surpass a dead man hit me hard. I used to study Korean with a guy who was betterbthan me. But he died, and now i'm better than he was. It just doesn't feel that way, cause he could have kept growing.

What Gohan should have done.
Go to roshi , learn mafuba and seal the androids
After that go to roshi's sister uranai baba call goku for a day have him locate new namek use namekian dragon balls to revive everyone then have goku take him to train under king kai for at least 2 years alongside the otherz warriors after that and this is optional go to yardrat in the same ship goku used to come from yardrat and train on yardrat with the others z warriors to learn instant transmission just in case they need to get help from namek ever again or escape from villains
Gohan would have certainly died using the Mafuba to seal someone so much stronger away. We’ve also seen the Mafuba reversed so it’s possible it wouldn’t have even worked

We don’t know the order in the actual manga canon. In the super manga it seems to imply that Piccolo died later than the others and none of them could be revived
Krillin and Vegeta stuff just made it more dramatic
I often wonder what would have happened if they made it and brought goku back to life at the last minute right before everyone died
