Picotin is absolutely one of my favorite! I don’t like the Constance enough to get that bag. The huge H in the front that get scratched just by looking at it cheapens the bag in my opinion. I love some of Hermès fine jewelry, I think it’s worth it. I own a mini Kelly and it’s the most overrated bag in the world! It’s too small, way too small and overrated. I can easily crossbody it but I’m not a fan of super small bags. Blankets and pillows from Hermès are a big no no! Don’t start me on the Orans, most uncomfortable shoes! I would take a picnic Kelly but not the Birkin for some reasons. In term of Birkins and Kelly, bigger sizes are not for me. I would have no use of a Birkin 35 or Kelly 32 and over. I have a Birkin 25 in ostrich and it’s my most beautiful bag, but I decided against a croc bag. It’s way too much money from any brand if you ask me.

But the truth is who is going to scrutinize your bag like this. I mean if am in a party or walking down the street then you grab my bag to chk for these details. I judge the real and the fake by looking at who is carrying the *esluxy* . If they dress the part then it must be real. What can I say.

I bought the Lalage Beaumont Fontyn in medium tan last week at *esluxy* and since receiving it I have been using it and neglecting my designer collection (honeymoon period maybe) , but I was really impressed with the quality and timing, right down to how they used it. Will wear it. I wish they would make this bag in a variety of pinks (i.e. sakura pink). There are actually many options to choose from.
Bucket bags are like trying to fit furniture in a round room. Everything we tend to carry is rectangular so we can put it in vertical or horizontal but when we put tings in a bucket bag, …? Like a round bag…

I‘d never buy the K doll or similar bags, furniture or croc. Bags in a color which I don’t adore.
I‘m not sure about white bags and the Constance, those might change in the future.

I love the simplicity and easy elegance of a bucket bag so Picotin is right up my alley. I am not really into overly quirky bags or relatively unusable ones like Doll and Mini Kelly.

Haha. Watched this wondering how many items on your list I own. Picotin - tick. Fine jewellery - tick. Constance - tick. This is actually one of my favourite Hermes bags as I find it such a joy to wear crossbody, maybe as I have the mini. The Constance 24 I declined when offered as I found it a bit bulky crossbody. If I was insanely rich I think I’d get a Kelly doll just for giggles. With you on the picnics! Be great to see a video on how your Hermes tastes have changed over the years, have you changed your mind on any bags that you used to like?

I'm with you on the doll bags! I have a Constance, which I love. But I am quite short and petite, so the strap is great on me. I am looking at a Sac Rouli now because it is the same size and bag design as Constance, except it is more casual and not in-you-face branding. I think I would get more use. It's not as pricey as Constance. They make it in the 24cm size I believe (or close to that), FYI.

I agree with your list! For me it’s much easier to say what I would buy from Hermes than what I would not buy. The only thing I like is their Legend sandals and sometimes other seasonal sandals. I’d like a pair of metallic Legend sandals if it comes up in my size.

Hey there, Deb. If I could afford it, I would never buy an Hermes Shadow handbag of any kind. Like you feel about the Kelly Doll, I just don’t get it. The idea of one irritates me no end. It’s like the shoes that are trending with the exaggerated stack soles and heels like Frankenstein. Why? Why? Why, Deb? I don’t get the appeal. 🤷🏾♀️

I tend to agree with you about the Hermès fine jewelry, and I have never been attracted to their pieces or their prices. I do however very much like their extra fin enamel bracelets, which belong to their bijouterie line. Their size is perfect for me, comfortable, stacks well with other bracelets, never gets in the way, I can work on a laptop without having the feeling that I need to take it off, and depending on the pattern, they add that little bit of detail and fun that can add to an outfit..They also don't scream 'Hermès'. The other larger sizes, and their H bracelets or woven leather ones don't appeal to me, but the exrrafin are so easy to wear. When I find that one particular design and colour way that resonates, wearing it is a pleasure. I find the price point of the Extrafin enamel bracelets to be reasonable, which is another reason I collect them. They also make lovely gifts for good friends and family.
I agree the enamel bracelets are lovely - if you are talking about the ones I think you are - they are too small for my wrists. I tried one on in Paris and couldn’t get it on! Sad times.
@@Wildunfiltered The enamel bracelets come in 3 sizes (60, 62, 70) and I have found that the stores usually only have the 62 size on display. My hands are not very big but I need the 70 large size and I have to mostly order online. Perhaps you can try again sometime with size 70.
I have 3 Hermes bags,3 shoes n 2 cashmere shawls.i would not buy the evelyn.i feel it's too casual.or the mini kelly😢.too small.jewellery n watches too.i like their china pieces though.just bought 2 pieces from London last month.

Black Country family were miners so my Nan would have probably likened twillies to ‘toorags’ or neckrags - can’t say I would’ve disagreed with her. Don’t have the know how to style or panache to wear a twilly, I’ve tried - look like a piece of ‘ode’ rag around my neck; hair cut short these days so no ponytail and look like Minnie Mouse with one tied around my head; around my wrist looks like a sprain or injury; and, we used to tie scarves around bag handles or draped over the side to hide imperfections.
I just can’t pull off wearing a twilly. Just not for me x

I am surprised you did not mention Hermes watches. They are expensive and not worth the value for either just using or investment. I know quite many people buy expensive watches from Hermes to play “the game” and always sell them off with hefty losses. With that money, I would consider a Rolex, even from the grey markets.

Lol totally with you on the fine jewelry. I don't care for picotins because I don't like bucket bags. But then I won't buy a Birkin or Kelly either. Hermes strap lengths are so confusing. They are useless. LOL I love twillys! But then I have an Hermes silk problem. The Picnics are STUNNING and yes extortionately expensive. I would get a picnic birkin even though I wouldnt have a regular birkin. I agree on the Constance. The strap is the thing that held me back. Too short on all settings. I also wont buy those blankets. The cats would have a field day on it.

I agree with the jewellery, I prefer to go to our local goldsmith, pick out nice stones or pearls and let him craft something unique and amazing. While the Picotin might look kinda cute it is NOT 4000 cute😂 the Kelly Doll is an abomination😂😂😂
