I always enjoy your videos, and especially your sense of humor, but I want to especially thank you for this particular video. You taught me some very good info and I really appreciate that you don't mind showing mistakes because again, it helps us learn. Looking forward to PART II.
Thanks for watching. Wasn’t sure if everyone would like All the talking in this video but it’s hard for me to not explain what I’m doing and why in these videos . Really appreciate your input!
Great video bro love seeing that beautiful dump truck keep making great videos
Thanks really appreciate you watching!
Now you got me checking my wire for Rust!!! 😂
😂. If your welding outside just stick to the flux core. Much easier in the wind
It’s looking good!…I’ve never had any welding training, just learned as I went, turning the dials up and down…the welds always start out crummy and lumpy at first, but smooth out once you get back into it…unless your doing it every day…I’m impressed with it…plus who’s ever going to see it anyway!
Yeah agree . I do the same . I start off using the chart but then adjust for my personal hand speed . My dad was a welder and taught me a lot but is still comes down to practice and consistency. I’m really happy with then end result. The video was 7hrs of footage so I had to cut it down and into 2 parts . Thanks for watching!
*QUESTION* (Dumb but - Will the RAM on the dump body go up high enough raising it? I have a LOT of respect for those DUMP BODIES since *DIRT BOSS* had a hose BLOW and *HIS FELL = BOOM* seriously! You did buy you guys a nice truck! That new TIP was worth it - MAN! Sleep on it & you know it will come out just fine! Thanks for sharing!
It’s been done for a a month now and works great ! The dump ram goes all the way to the top . I had to break it up into 2 parts because the video had 7hrs of footage I filmed. Yes the dump bodies can get scary at times . Thanks for watching.
I know what you mean when tou say you dont have a steady hand... i dont either thats why i SUCK at welding lol! Nice job
Yeah it’s rough 😂 thanks for watching!
I had to put a plate like that for doing asphalt so the spreader could push without getting hung up
Yeah I don’t know how much paving it will see but I guess it’s better to be prepared. Thanks for watching!
The mudflaps would make good workmats while crawling under the truck😊
Yes they would. I just do wasn’t to use them while I’m cutting an welding. I did that once and the smell of burning rubber was terrible. Thanks for watching!
Setting fire to them is probably not the best thing for them 😂
@@ianbirkmyre4622 😂😂
You're correct, you don't know😳
Why you say it like that ? 😂
Winging it with a monkey wrench is the way I roll too! 😀
that big one has always been my go to ! Doubles as a hammer also 😂
@@DirtBrute Hammer time! I prefer a big ole pipe wrench for the hammer. You can whack it good with the pipe wrench…🤣
@@tristardiggin 😂😂
Notch the body instead of truck frame
I would have to cut out the back support beam completely that holds the spill plate. That would wreck the body .
