Should probably add more marsupials like Sugar Gliders, Squirrels, Flying Squirrels, Wombats, etc

No I didn't. Insect hotel was just one of the several feature ideas I had and managed to partially program to the game, including this mob. I did move my attention to different features to program, but that doesn't mean I have already forget about it.
