I'd like to think that Dirk used to have feelings for Gretel who, chose Ivan over him. Heartbroken, Dirk traveled to Konohana in order to focus on his job and find a soulmate. And bam, this time luck was totally by his side, he found Lillian a young farmer who loved him and accepted him the way he is, he fell in love with her and decided to marry her.

Why is it that Harvest moon proposal's are the most unromantic things ever?

Rune Factory beat them to it. You have to have at least 3 dates with them and trigger their proposal event(in RF4,in older games,you can just propose to them since your a boy)
The journey to the more "private place" must be so quiet and awkward...
I like Dirk fom 2 towns better than Grand Bazaar. The character design is quite polished up

Nori is a seamstress, so if you befriend her a little (you don't even need 2 flowers), she'll start posting requests to the Konohana message board, telling you that she wants to trade wool and money for new outfits that you can wear. She can make a total of 3 outfits for you, the rest of them can be obtained by befriending the Oracle and accepting her requests :)

You can get the blue feather from Raul or Enrique's shop. You need to be at the pink flower, and in year two or later. Hope this helped ^-^
True! But does "in the past" mean: Dirk in GB is younger than the Dirk in TTOTT? (makes sense though, this dirk is definitely older and taller than the dirk in GB.)

You basically talk to the person you want to date at a certain time. You can start going out with a candidate when they reach 5000 FP. After that you can start dating.
Here are the different times you can date Dirk:
Date Times: Thursdays and Saturdays (6:00 pm to 10:00 pm), or Sundays (11:00 am to 4:00 pm)
Locations: Good = Dirk's House, Yun's Tea House, Bridge -- Neutral = Waterfall -- Bad = Mountain

What making me upset about marriage features in this game is that your character and the barchelor/batchelorette not even wearing a wedding dress unlike other HM games such as BTN or FOMT.
And also it will more perfect if they keep the Rivalry event and marriage. Cause you know, that what's make the game more challenging.

I also lost count xD. after 40 or so, then after every date I proposed to him, and he only accepted the Blue Feather after this one, so I thought this was the 50th date
But after recording these events, I loaded my game and had a date with him again, and he didn't say the same things, so I can't confirm that he'll say so on your 50th date, maybe he just adds this line after the 50th, but not always c:
