    Love Jannik. His game has skyrocketed, his movement/footwork has elevated him to elite status. I'm all in for Sinner. Hope he wins it all.

    I wouldn’t have said this even just this time last year, but Sinner’s poise and sense of absolute control on the court reminds me a bit of Federer, not in terms of play styles, obviously, but more so in terms of that sense that they’re on top. He feels like a top 3 player in the world at the very least. What the hell was that ridiculous cross-court forehand?? Insane. I need him to make it at least to the semis 🙏🏾

    Sinner is a complete player. No weaknesses. And I love his on-court demeanor. No yellings, C'mon, or raising his hands to get the crowd to applause.

      His weakness? He is very prone to injury and cannot seem to outlast the top tier players during a five set match. If he’s really that complete in my opinion, then he should have had a at least one slam by now.

    • @Teddy_Gautier
      @Teddy_Gautier Před 6 měsíci +7

      @@oliverdiamante761 I think your comment doesn’t account for the major improvements he’s made over the past year. The player you’re talking about is last year’s Sinner. Let’s wait and see how he does this year. Going off of his display here, the original comment is completely appropriate. It’s not just the fact that he won. It’s how he did it.

    Sinner the Winner! 🥕
    It started with staying healthy and no more foot blisters which came together in the Canadian Open in August 2023 when Sinner won his first Masters. However, he took things for granted resulting in subpar performances at the Cincinnati Masters and USO. After USO he has played outstanding tennis. AO 2024 will be his biggest test since it’s best of 5 sets over 2 weeks and 7 matches.

    Perhaps he's final there! Sinner definitely looks like he's finally reached the league of the Big 3. Alcaraz was the only other player I felt had that kind of tennis in him after the big 3. Thiem got really close before his wrist injury.
    I believe Alcaraz and Sinner are proving they can't be ruled out. Beating Djoko is going to be very very tough, but these two do have it in them, so it's not impossible.
    We'll also have to keep an eye out for Medvedev and Dimitrov, but Djokovic, Alcaraz, and Sinner are clearly the favourites. 70% it's still gonna be Djokovic who wins AO again, though.
