In 2007, I approached a college counselor to express my interest in switching from business to pursue a degree in civil engineering. They told me it was a bad idea because nobody was investing in infrastructure. They were right, and look where we are.
Many of our bridges are rated D or lower.
Actually that Newsmax clip about the bridge being old was exactly right. I've personally been witness to a barge colliding with a bridge, that didn't full collapse like that one did. It's awful that a collision happened, but ailing and dilapidated structural integrity is absolutely a factor in this tragedy.

I say put Desi Lydic on the desk and put Jordan out in the field and have them both on every episode.
I'm torn between him and Desi. Jordan I think is ultra-polarizing but the classical fit. Desi has such a solid sarcastic delivery in tune with Stewart with just about the right break in scripted moments. Honestly, if the cast could agree with it, I think the rolling host works for the show. Granted, it's a salary, ego, and agent nightmare.
Dulce's appearances in other media seems to indicate there is internal strife with Stewart's return. Even though it seems to be to set order again after Noah's chaotic leave.

That's partially the point. The ban would put parents in the position of liability.
That would work for about 10 seconds until that 12-year old told somebody else they were on social media and BAM, now you're off. Plus, it wouldn't be that hard for social media companies to use census data and determine the public's age if they wanted to.
Heck, with most Facebook accounts, I could find out the age of about everyone within 6 degrees of separation of me. It'd be even easier for a social media company to do that. That doesn't even include language level analysis, requiring documentation to start a social media account, etc that should also occur.
Just because social media is run irresponsibly by a bunch of millionaires doesn't mean it couldn't actually be run properly to prevent problems if they cared.
