Thanks Cheese for the reply, I really like the A1/A2 style uppers, they have been hard to find the past few years, but they are getting popular again for these retro builds, we are seeing some manufacturers like PSA are starting to sell them again. If ya get a chance, grab an upper, then you can take your time to build out a nice 16” or 20” rifle.
Let us know how it does when shooting at 100, 200, and 300 yards. You know, rifle distances, not shotgun distances. 🤪 But, yes, that is one sweet-looking AR. Congrats and hope you continue to enjoy it. Love those A2s.
I’ve been watching for the PSA A2 upper kit to come back in stock but it’s been a while. Did you purchase this kit recently or have you had it for a while and are just now getting it reviewed?

Thank you good sir! I grew up in the 80’s and 90’s, I qualified with the A2 in the USAF and fell in love with it. The 20” gas system is awesome.
Very nice! My first AR was/is my Colt AR15A2 purchased back around 1987. Still have it in original guise. One of my favorites. Thanks for sharing!
