  • Picked this up last year November 2022 on Black Friday from rural king and now that I’ve got a CZcams channel I figured I’d post an unboxing type video and give my thoughts and impressions of this Tisas budget 45 1911

    My father bought me this same gun for my birthday 3 years ago. It's flawless. I have two colt 1911's and its cleaner (machined) and more accurate than both of them.

      I noticed working in gun shops and pawn shops over the years colt quality has went down I’d say 1980’s and older on colt anything newer meh 🫤 I think these Tisas guns are pretty impressive for the price they come in at I’ve gotta get a range review up and see how it shoots thanks for watching !

    There's already another model of this out. It has a phosphate finish, original sized ejection port, and no mag well bevel. Gone also is the wider hammer spur. It has no slide markings at all. It is US PROPERTY marked.

      Yea I’ve seen that one on a few channels I believe
      This one is good enough representation for my liking but I’m glad there’s a more faithful replica for the more hardcore enthusiasts

    the new US Army model, comes with 2 mags, 2 sets of grips, and it costs right at $400.00, and it is sweet.

    Guns from turkey are getting better all the time this one looks really nice. My problem is I want one already have too many 1911s. I said too many can you ever have too many. I also am a fan of the glock 36 problem is since I have gotten older 77 I can't shoot it a lot my arm begins to really fatigue. Oh well I thank God I am still here to complain.

      I think the Glock 36 is one of the best 45acp carry guns in my opinion and yea Turkish guns have come a long ways over the years……well I’m thankful you watched my video and commented and glad you are still around thanks for stopping by you should buy one if you can afford it we only live once so why not !

    I currently have a Colt Government Model 1911A1 Series 80. I've been in the "Polymer Wonder 9" world for so long that the first time I shot my Colt, I questioned why the 1911 platform hadn't been in my life before. Anyway, been thinking about picking up one of these Turkish 1911's, and I think I will. The price point calls out to my current peasant social status. 😆 Malo for the vid! 🤙

    • @SovietCombatSloth
      @SovietCombatSloth  Před 6 měsíci +1

      I think they are more in the 330-350 range on this model at the moment but I think they are worth it what’s better than a 1911 🤔 two 1911’s 😆

    The earlier M-1911 had wood grips. The M-1911A1 was issued with plastic grips.

    • @SovietCombatSloth
      @SovietCombatSloth  Před 6 měsíci +1

      I think I’ve seen both on original M-1911A1’s over the years but I didn’t think they had entirely switched over to them for WW2 at least early on

      @@warrenshafer1281 hard to say I don’t think they ever really totally standardized on things I’ve seen wood and plastic grips and M1911s and M1911A1’s that were used in WW2 they were just trying to put guns into use and fielded them as quickly as possible

      WW2 1911 Grips were made of the old Redish/Brown Baklite. later around the early 60's they went to a Brown plastic.

    The plastic grips included are garbage. You can buy the correct military surplus grips online for very cheap. The plastic checkering is deeper and grippier, better quality, and the color is correct. Trust me, the correct grips make a HUGE difference!
