How To Delete All Partitions On A Hard Drive Or SSD Using Windows 10

How to delete all partitions on a HDD hard drive or SSD with Windows 10 and diskpart command prompt. This tutorial explains the steps it takes to remove every partition on a hard drive so that it will be a completely clean slate to be formatted and filled with files of your choice, this removes any boot EFI partition, OEM partition or system recovery partition that is usually present on a system drive and let's this one be converted to a dedicated media storage drive.
Remember that you should not remove system partitions on the hard drive your system is installed on as this will prevent you from booting the computer, only do this when you wanna convert an old system drive to a storage drive for files or if another OS is getting installed on it. If you just want to delete all partitions at once, enter diskpart, select your disk and then write the command “clean”
Edit: after deleting all of your partitions they will override and then you just want to write the command “create partition primary” while the disk is selected

You saved me a lot of time and efforts revealing this approach since neither disk management or 3rd part softwares such as easeus DO NOT handle merging partinioned disks. I had small reserved disk space between my OS disk and the partinimoned disk space I wanted to merge... And the reserved disk prevented me from doing so. Tried with easeus and failed merging them. I was getting desperate and I was considering new OS boot and installation all together with the boring drivers setup when your video popped up at the very last minute :). The casual midiocre " microsoft support" info could not help either :/. Thank you many times, liked and subscribed!
