5 days ago i left my house and started living completely on my own even though its just 10kms away, what sadhguru said is so relatable, its between two men, not between father and son. and if the one is taking too much space and authority, nothing much left for the other one.

This tension man vs man instead of father and son is nothing more then insecurities vs acceptance. I love my father but we couldn’t be in the same home by the time I reached 19. Why? A combination of our mutual insecurities. Fast Forward and our two sons are of the same age and we get on famously because I have accepted them growing into the men that they want to be. I don’t always agree with their choices and I try to offer guidance, but I want them to recognize that I accept who they are and who they are trying to be. Having such a relationship is a blessing that I realized I as the elder have to make possible.

This is very great advice. I came to realize at one point that much of my friction with my dad was being at home at an age where i wanted my own independent life and it just wasn't possible with parental authority figures around. moms tend to be more easy going but dads are known to be serious and strict, especially from certain cultures. so it is best for young man to leave and have his own life and home, unless he has to stay to support family or sick. as sadghuru says, father also, gets tired of son, having other person challenge authority in own house. however, from certain cultures, the father is so serious that he comes off as rude or not supporting to the son, almost because he is constantly challenging the son 24/7. my dad doesn't want to even have a bro relationship he says. he is "old school" turkish man always trying to prove a point and has not time to hear anyone else talk.

It's always difficult initially when you lose that home security you're so used to but if you struggle hard enough to get stability, you'll be the happiest man alive.

I saw this comment: "Firstly, you realise how limited your intelligence is & how that means how humble you ought to be in doing compromises with the other person you are living with.
    - Secondly, you hope the other person in the house realises the same & is able to learn to share with you what he believes is his space, gracefully.
    - If you can't sustain your patience that long yet, find a non-violent way ^^ to find your own house/home."
Everyone being respectful and considerate and being willing to make reasonable and fair compromises is a good approach when sharing living spaces with others.

After the Mother I think Daughter in Laws can Take Over very well in Handling the Friction b/w her Husband & Father in Law ..I am & was a Complete & Absolute Failure in Handling this Situation as a Daughter. As Far as Friction between Two Woman if it's a Daughter & Daughter in Law Relationship.....I prefer to keep away my self and just be busy saying my Daily Prayers or Studying or Working [if Employed] with after I am done with my Daily Chores with Mutual Understanding between the two or Family ...😊
