Question: does it have to be a certain gun for the damage to work or does it not really matter as long as it has that particular annointment? Love your videos, by the way. Looking forward to more in the future. 😄
@@rawgaming9830 Both. It has to be that annointment primarily, but you also want a weapon that deals good damage per shot. It doesn't have to be the Beacon, but it is a good choice for that.

Finally, after months of odd farming I’m able to use the radiation monarch with amaras ricochet set up, its been one the most successful weapons in the builds so far outside the root and lightshow.
I m impressed I m new to borderlands and amara is my only character lvl 50 ( 80 hours in game ) I always struggled on mayhem 7 but with this tip of yours I jumped directly to mayhem 10. Thank you

This has always worked like this , add on the overkill orb that also scales with skills damage too. Along with the phaserker. Best mobbing easily

I was playing around with this concept awhile back but with phasecast I knew the damage was there when I one shot killavolt with an elemental nova but ties that bind is definitely insane and I can’t wait to check this out
When it comes to bosses that don’t start with/ever have a lot of supporting enemies around, is the build here good enough to complete bosses regardless?
I mean... holy shit, dude. it's reaching a point where instead of trying to nerf your builds they should just hire you cause they sure as hell can't beat you

I was using this about a month before he made videos about it. Still tho, the math for the equations was helpful and I did learn something to make my build better. Worth the watch for sure.
I hopped into Slaughter Shaft right after the patch with a similar build. Was very satisfying to see an entire group of hardened tinks and annointeds getting 1-tapped by a single phasegrasp...

My build is based on Derchlands Sheriff Amara. It's sick. It basically ties/Rico witch, but big damage jakobs. CB, Wedding invite, and surprisingly, the monocle. Thanks for the vids Mox, keep it up.

Kyle Smith I’ve literally been playing Fl4k since launch. Last week I finally decided to level the other VHs. It’s like night and day. I love my Fl4k, and I wouldn’t say I struggle with any content...but damn do all of the other VHs do everything faster/better. All fresh 60s with nearly identical gear (save a few shield swaps here and there) and they all do everything better.
Fl4k needs a buff, and I never would have noticed if I hadn’t finally rerolled. Everyone cried so hard at launch that he got nerfed into the ground and has never recovered, meanwhile everyone else has gone miles beyond anything Fl4k ever came close to.
Beatenmeat moze has been the worst for the longest time, now id definitely say flak is the bottom. I hope your main can get better the way mine finally did :)

love the videos you pump out. do you need to farm the beacon with amara to get a roll like that or will anyone gett hat?
So during my play all day today, I found that with the combo of the contained blast and doc hina's miracle bomb with 25% OGT, I was getting explosions with up to 55M damage mixed in with my gun damage. Couldn't replicate it with any other gun. Not sure how or why it's happening, but it's fun.
My Revelation Orbs have brain damage and usually chase corpses or floors. Great when they work.
Please call the build "Thanos Amara" because she's snapping everything out of existence with her phase grasp

Dude, we play almost the same Amara and I LOVE being able to tune certain aspects from what you post. Hell yeah to damage cap shotguns!!!!!! I honestly feel more balance in what I run, but you give me such fun fresh ideas every patch :D :D :D

I knew there was something with her action skill going on. It was absolutely melting stuff with a mere 20% action skill damage. I also knew this was going to be the next big build for Amara. Probably could have figured this all out myself if I played with it a bit more but thanks for doing all the hard work.

Would appreciate seeing a link to a build page as far as skill points go. I have a Fire/Cyro Beacon from Bounty For Blood and a Phasezerker. Also running with an Elemental Projector but will farm for a Victory Rush with that prefix on it soon.
I’m Having way too much with a Stinger shield landed a Hyrdafrost last night with +120% melee bonus & the 300/90 anoint chasing down a few other guns with decent melee bonuses now...
So the build that you had before with the ricochet is that still viable for amara now after the patch ?

Moxsy! Have you tied the grenade throw annointment with this? 25% grenade/actionskill/weapon dmg for 6 sec
The echo cast extension shows your damage so we can actually tell how much you are dealing
What do you do against true single target fights? Just shoot the old fashioned way?

I’m Messing around with these skills and melee stuff on amara and for some reason my fish slap is putting a 2m-9m dot on enemies. never thought I’d farm bosses with grenades on this game. It’s kinda awesome though
Actually with the 300/90 it’s more like a 12-15m dot

Tested it.. works like a charm. Enemies disappear... but what do you do when it's a boss or just one super strong enemy left? felt a drastic decrease in efficiency yesterday.

Is it fun though? I don't have a max Amara or Zane but the most fun I had was running around with Moze and the Westergun (I think? One of the high mag maliwan SMGs) and infinite ammo from headshots

Unfortunately I don't think the remnant orbs have enough range to make it to graveward :/
they can hit his fist when it is down. the big issue is the adds come in groups. the orb tends to be absorbed by the adds unless you can get 1 broke off from the pack. tricky timing, so the damage is usually somewhat diminished on the orb overkill. with perfect timing on the first jabber pair, you could probably one-shot. i have seen 3/4 in a hit on m10. i think 300/90 (150/90 now?) didn't trigger.
Revelation is great for building up Groundbreaker damage and the insane Remnant orbs keep that damage up. You can really play this game with just your action skill and I love it!
Should i go to true vault hunter mode or do all the side quests then true vault my amara?
Quick question would the root be a good gun to run with this build? I have a root with 300 over 90

Looks crazy in a vacuum. Curious to see how it fares in combat with no sustainment or samsara. Sure, you one shot everything but if you ever get caught without phasegrasp available it seems you would be very fragile.
Which artefact do you use ?
So I was just grasping enemies and they were just blowing up, I don’t have groundbreaker either

I didn't played for hole while no Borderlands 3, since 4 Days again now. I pushed myself on lvl 60 by using Transformer, Loaded Dice and my old Cutsmens. All at lvl 50 on mayhem 7 and I still have this on 🤣 only cause of your knowledge here, Phazerker is King for real👍. Well my weapons gone better now, using max lvl only again bit thx so much man really.

I got one issue I realized right now that does happen to do Harm skill. I'm going for 99 stacks do Harm and it appears under the exp bar but it does not work. Why does this happens some times? The do Harm icon goes like in Grey compared to the other icons that appears.
May cause I changed a bit of this build but why?

I was thinking they nerfed amara hard with the hotfix, then I thought it cant be that easy to do a billion damage...and then I met remnant.

But they can’t stop THE DAMAGE
Do harm did get a nerfed. Zkarma did a video on it. Still a buff after you spec into it.
The scaling is now like 6.4 instead of 7. And the link damage went from like 35% to 20%.

I hadn't played for a couple of weeks and jumped on Amara . . I was wondering why I was TTB enemies and killing the whole group with one shot sometimes.

I don't understand why I'm not able to replicate this. I set the necessary skills and a 300/90 anointed weapon but I'm only able to do 6m to grasp and 275m to linked mobs. I'm also on M10 and using elemental advantage.
Same here, been trying to figure out why for hours but still haven't found a solution
Not sure but it might partly be due to not having action skill damage and/or splash damage on gear
@@alwaysNoided1 it looks like it was because I was using the Holy Crit mayhem modifier. It was negating a lot of damage since it was considered non crit dmg.
