I was an Amazon driver i learned alot about how to run a delivery business so i got my own
This comment!!!!! 💯
This gentleman can do the same thing.. He got paid for 36 hours. So get another job save that money put it towards becoming a contractor for Amazon and have drivers make deliveries for you..
@@majorboatwright7268 Him getting a second job will not help him. He needs to get his personal credit together. That's what helped me. And all the information you have learned from Amazon. You should know a lot of things what to do on your own and go for it
So it’s cool and ok when your the slave masters overseer to hire people and pay them low wages to slave while you sit back and collect.
It's all about turning lemons into lemonade
My daughter drives occasionally for Amazon. Because I had been concerned for her safety, I asked her if I could accompany her on a few of her routes. OMGOODNESS, the routes she was given was utterly SCARY. I was almost in tears just knowing she was out there alone. I told her exactly what the gentleman in the video says, THEY ARE UNDER PAID and face danger. Shame on them for exploiting these people.
Wow!!
Shame on Amazon? No, shame on the people who know Amazon is the Devil, and still supports Amazon every single day!
I would tell her to quit and let her move back with me.
I think you talking about Amazon Flex (independent contractor), not DSP, because you said that she drives occasionally. The guy in this video works for a DSP. The DSP determines his pay and his schedule.
There are more retirement individuals out here delivering.
SSI doesn't pay the rent either!
Thanks for sharing
That's why u have to get a retirement plan
@carlosramos-hp3yu Many of them had a retirement plan, the economy got real expensive.
@@shawnintownExactly
You been telling people that they would get laid off. Then today UPS said they are laying off 12,000 employees.
SAY WHAT?????m Let me go check!!
They can't get more money They going to do just like UPS give out the money and cut the hours or days so it might look the same or might look worser it's fucked up for everybody ain't nobody safe!!!!
Not union workers though
@@johngatsby1473Exactly
As a amazon warehouse worker it was the same treatment , relentless amount of work and management standing on top of you .....
I worked one day for amazon and quit
Im shocked! WOW! Im disappointed. Just slaving these people and Jeff knows it.......He will reap what he sews for what he is doing. Job market is tough out here so they stay. No they dont need work harder. AMAZON needs to pay more period.
That's absolutely right!
I heard that working in their warehouse is really tough.
I heard that as well.
Yeah....they keep the whip crackin down in those Amazon warehouses.🤣
It is true.. they’re all about rate rate rate… we get paid by the hour, not by rate 😒 the only part of the warehouse I enjoyed was when I was working the PIT machines.. other than that, I don’t like the warehouse at all
Amazon like Fed Ex Ground are setup as a contractor model. So you don’t work directly for Amazon or Fed Ex. You work for the contractor who normally has a one to 2 year contract to service the zip codes he/she was assigned. That contractor has a S or C corp setup and you are employed under that. They also have to have their own workers comp, trucking insurance, health plan ,retirement etc just like Amazon or Fed Ex corporation. You get a fee from Amazon or Fed Ex to have your employees dress in Fed ex or amazon clothing. Amazon leases the trucks to their contractors, Fed Ex ground the contractors own their own vehicles. The contractor at fed ex gets brand promotion to put the logos on his truck along with having the drivers dress in fed ex uniforms.
Normally the driver jobs pay 15 to 25 per hour depending upon if you have a DOT medical card and delivery experience. It’s a tough job to be a delivery driver. You really can’t compare to UPS drivers as they work directly for UPS the corporation.
Thanks for sharing
Well said! 🎯 Many people don’t understand the various business models within the logistics space, and assume all businesses within the space operate the same.
I used to work for a Amazon DSP that's the name of the contractors the contractors makes the pay for their drivers not Amazon the owner of the DSP is the one getting paid around 1.2-1.5 million a year. But I do appreciate the driver hard work they do.
Fd up part is they’re making close to 100k if they’re lucky. Rest to Amazon.
I had a friend working at Amazon relay, he had someone pull out a gun at the address he was delivering to out in the woods. He quit immediately after. And no he did not have a natural tan.
I worked at FedEx Ground the pay was decent. Although it wasn't anything close to UPS. there were some days I couldn't see the back of my truck due to all the packages, I'm talking from the floor to the roof 😂😂. That's a job for a young person.
Thanks for sharing
What's the story? Why did he pull out a gun?
It happens during deliveries. Unfortunately, you jave to be prepared for the unexpected as a delivery driver in any neighborhood. People and their dogs are dangerous.
Loved this video!!
I delivered for a company and when houses are back in the woods. I don't deliver to their door 😮
Tha KS for sharing
The logistics company is the one that sets the pay not Amazon. A person delivering does not work for Amazon. The logistics company negotiates a price for the deliveries, amazon pays the logistics company and then the logistics company pays the driver. The logistics company lease the vans from amazon. So if you look at your check it will not say amazon
Wow! I never knew their drivers were subcontracted. I always thought that was only for Amazon Flex. In that case the the drivers have no excuse not to start their own carrier businesses. I feel like while they're on their downtime the ones that really want to need to look into starting their own business.
Yeah, i used to drive for this contractor for Amazon! It was CRAZY! They should have paid more, but i loved the job of delivery! #TheZon 💯🙌🏾
Please don’t forget the air freight division including Pilots, UPS & the rest!!!! If you can organize with a honest Union Business Agents!!!
Let me tell you the unions will be in bed with the companies
I do amazon flex from time to time During the winter months I'm not going up and nobody's to deliver no packages At night time I'm good on all of that
Thanks for sharing
I can't complain about Amazon..I enjoyed delivering no matter what the situation is or was...I hope people understand that some people are comfortable at what we do to make a living..
I work for them and the places they have me deep in woods can't use restroom for being so far out its crazy
Go in the woods me and my wife do. You got to go you do what you have too
2016 and 17 i worked for Amazon as a regular driver. They would send me to rescue after i would done my route. Almost every day. No safty and if you bring back an undelivered pakage due to their safty rules, they would investigate it. They were cheating drivers with pay and someone sued them with 1.7 millions dollars for stealing workers compensation and i had my share the first day of pandemic started. So i quit in 2017 and understood their policies and never ll go back work for them.
Thanks for sharing
I drove a real truck for .25 a mile. Get a haircut & grow up. Wage back in the 70s were lower. I admit that. But 18.00 an hour for local work is fantastic.
Its the same with my profession security we are contracted my company get paid 45 dollars a guard they give us fifteen dollars and keep the rest for themselves no benefits no vacay and sick days mandated by the state and I"m in New York so I know how he feels
when you factor benefits and retirement, they make like 1/4 of UPS. fedex even pays more and they pay shitty as well. thats why amazon created that, to pay even less.
I can't even disagree with you Jim... Good point.
Fedex is designated an airline company. UPS is a freight co. Two different business model's
When I was in college from 82 to 84 I pulled on the purple belt at 15 DOLLARS UPS
I know people that work as a machinist that make the same wage and it takes more skill than driving a truck around dropping off boxes.
Does the training give you contract templates for your client to sign, as well as guidance on how to negotiate a profitable contract?
The training gives you clear guidance on how to negotiate both dedicated routes and stat deliveries. It also gives information on what to say when calling the companies. The training comes with 74 companies to sign up with, both medical deliveries and packages.
Amazon does not negotiate with terrorist.
Had a friend who delivered for Amazon at night in a white neighborhood and a gun was pulled on him because the person was paranoid about a black guy coming up to his house at night in his own car. My husband delivered for Amazon and got attacked by a judge's dog and was fired immediately because he kicked the dog and the dog lost some teeth smh!
I know what he is talking about my first job was at FedEx before Amazon exist but I use to work in the warehouse as a package handler, and sometimes contractors would ask me if I want to make extra money and I do it sometimes on it's not easy and you don't get paid for overtime so you out there all day it's on you and if you bring back packages you don't get paid for that so you have to deliver all packages for your better pay that why I get my class A CDL on then leave I didn't even drive for them I go to a trucking company that gives you free CDL but driving for them one year,or pay back if you break contact , but good video so people see what drivers getting paid out here, Uber, Lyft,on all drivers working for companies
Thanks for sharing
The cdl a is no difference trucking is dead sorry to inform you on that
He needs to pivot. If you are taking jobs at a number and crying online is not going to help you. It's good that they are organizing. I could imagine it is a tough job. On the other end if they pay more the job will be more competitive. I may start delivering packages.
since Amazon sub contract these drivers cant the driver charge Amazon for advertisement since they have to where the vest and drive an Amazon van
Worked in the warehouse a few years still wouldn’t be a driver
I got "Jump'd by 2 German Shepherds" bite mark on my leg
Yea but what y’all don’t get is that look ups is cutting 12,000 drivers across the board to be able to stay afloat because the union deal and the lack of business the same is happening to Amazon employees
His check only showed 40 work hours
I appreciate them . They are the reason that we get packages so fast. I don’t think it is safe for them.
Absolutely!
Bro I just got a car hauler that fits only one car. Any plug on maximizing my potential? I dint mind hauler anything else with it. I'm in Atlanta
no
They target by class, 12 and 13 hr shifts and its 3 shifts dont even need them to work 13 hours but they want that labor just to spite the class
Are there any medical carrier jobs where you don't have to use your own vehicle?
There are package delivery jobs that offers that. GoShare Driver.
Thanks
I ueed to work for gso and all they pay is 16 hr no benifits unfortunately this is the trend and no overtime.

Hello your medical delivery training you are promoting is it only for the US ?
Yes however, if the business is in you country, you can apply it. You can do some research and see if it's there.
This guy is not lying that’s how Amazon pays
True
Thanks!
Thank you very much!!!!
It’s not easy I do flex and when people don’t shovel or plow it’s not fun.
💯
Facts!
That's sad. I thought they made more than that. Amazon would be nothing without them.
I quit after a month because there little to no overtime
Wow
Amazon, UPS and FedEx don't ring my doorbell.
Is that an issue? I never ring a doorbell unless I need a signature.
C'mon my friend. That's not what this video is for. Don't say that.
The post office is always looking for carriers, but they have to work hard. Starting pay is about 19.33 an hour.
That's too much stress for 18/hr.
Amazon needs to collapse from lack of a customer base . If not they will literally destroy a majority of the work force as we know it....
I wouldn't compare this to "cotton fields" however I always tip my delivery ppl. When I order I make sure to choose bundled packages.
It’s their choice. 18 is better than 10. Some people aren’t worth minimum wage.
$18.75 is not a liveable wage? I have NEVER been able to get more than $11 an hour. I was making $11 an hour 6 years ago before I was disabled & all the jobs around here are still hiring starting at $11 or less. WTF America? *W T actual F is wrong with you????*
Only you gotta make that money player
True!
For that wage, Jeff Bezos will be delivering his own packages, hahaha, hahaha, hahaha!!!
how many hours a week?
You know A lot about Amazon workers by watching TikTok. Can you tell us how much a UPS worker makes hourly.
You should research it.
RNotherun 44 dollars an hour for Ups drivers after 4 yrs
@@dwaynemorris3079 Thank you for answering my question. The CZcamsr made me felt like I was bothering him. This is big pay gab.
YUP... $18.75 WAS WHAT WE INCREASED UP TO!
They are underpaid. Too much work
Absolutely!
That is good money. I did that job for $15 an hour and i was happy doing it.
😂
1977 I was already making $15 per hour.
Hi, it’s Al from down under now. We have pizza drivers here that are earning more money than any of your Amazon drivers so with all the pressure and all the marking around, I don’t think Amazon will be here in years to come because the volume of packaging will fall to nothing That is bye banks year 2024 is going to be a very very different up-and-down for all of us. Don’t buy any Chinese food. They put too much chemicals on it. Regards from down under
We have all figured out bezos rather pay his women instead of his workers.
Anyone bought and care to share the list 😂😂
Bus drivers here make more
How's everyone doing, I sincerely hope everyone is well. I have a quick question? I don't have a car but I do have Cherokee SUV and I do have A Nissan cab pick up truck. Would I be able to use those one of them or would it not be optimum? Sound like a silly question but it's really not. I'm hoping in the near future I might be able to buy some vans. Only if I'm successful and make enough money. I'd be grateful and very appreciative for anyones thoughts, comments, ideas, or advice.
Good question. You can you your SUV. the truck you can use on an app like GoShare Driver.
And what's his name has made several billion dollars from Amazon
Poor guy....
The problem with this video and this way of thinking in general is that this guy is focusing on Amazon Drivers and thats it, telling regular ppl to show them some appreciation.. Well, a lot of regular ppl dont make even that much or maybe struggling like the friends the driver says he himself has.. wrongfully or rightfully this will make ppl just say, "Amazon drivers??? what about this, and what about that?" The commentator should use this video and be a bit more inclusive of all.. Not bashing the commentator, my only concern is that ppl feel more united in this struggle so we dont argue with each other.
As least you have a job !!! UPS Drivers are getting fired!!! The just fired 12,000 drivers yesterday and more layoffs are coming!!! UPS driver thought they were going to get a pay increase and the Owner was going to lose that’s never going to happen!!!! I bet those 12,000- 15,000 that got fired would be glad to be working!!!!
orlandovelastegui1391 Its mainly management employees getting fired
UPS has over 536,000 employees, they fired 12,000 of seasonal and management workers. Drivers are still out on the road rolling.
They are cutting routes and hours to the bone. But, it should work out.@@MiniMausTruckerKee
Yeah, this is fine words and all but what's it gonna take to make people realize that simply paying people more jacks inflation even higher? It's basic economics. Seems like a short few years ago they were complaining about $7-$8 an hour not being enough yet a couple could still afford a cheap apartment if they were making that. Then they jacked the minimum wage in most places to $13 or more an hour. Which is a very large cause of current day inflation. Amazon prices on some items has doubled in the past couple of years. Keep talking about wage increases and it will double again. This is NOT the way. The way to balance things is far beyond what I am willing to type out here. I know UPS and couriers like that have always been paid high, but now amazon drivers want as much as they make?
I did delivery driving for a few years. It's not rocket science. No degree needed. So just how much pay would be enough for a job that anyone can do and is going to replaced by drones soon anyhow? Wage increases will make that happen as fast it is in the restaurant industry. The U.S.'s first FULLY automated restaurant just opened in CA a few days ago due to the high wages there. As the old saying goes, be careful what you wish for.
@ The Travele
Have you look up rents lately
@@scottphipps2278 So you think if everyone gets a raise then they will be able to pay their rent and all is well? How old are you? You have no comprehension of how inflation works. You might wanna educate yourself on that one.
Less than half of US states have a minimum wage of greater than 12/hr. While that should result in lost entry-level jobs, it would not create much of a blip on the rate of inflation. Things like 'free' covid-bucks, absolutely massive gov't spending, and the "just print more money' approach so often used by politicians have been the primary drivers of inflation, imo. The correct rate for minimum wage should always be zero, though.
@@scottphipps2278 On what planet do you think that the cost of rent has anything to do with minimum wage?
They didn't drive for Amazon. They drive for DSPs. The DSPs rent those trucks. I love flex. I make it work for me.

Go drive for UPS then
Lol
Its def not fun

On one video you said shout out to Trump for standing with these large companies for treating workers like this and in this video you seam to be standing with the workers fighting to get the pay we deserve and treat us like an employee instead of independent workers with no health insurance and no benefits . Kind of confusing. 🤦🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️
This is a LIE! I have never said that in any video. Provide me the link to the video and the time stamp where I said that in the video. First of all, Trump NEVER stood with these companies, because he was the one who put the rule in place for Independent Contractors to be treated like independent contractors and not employees, so you started out wrong. It is Joe Biden who wants companies to treat independent contractors like employees. This is how people like you come on our videos to try discrediting creators like myself instead of finding something better to do with your time.
Vote Joe Biden 😂
all that sounds gravy and rainbows but the reality is these drivers aren't' forced to work this is america , jeff bezos made that company off this back and hardwork , he didn't settle on making 18$ so get up off ya'll asses and get it ! amazon offers opportunity and flexibility were other jobs wouldn't' hire that driver or deal with the flex schedules.. point blank information is free , if you took 50 hours of your week and study business or a trade you will see the results of your labor . but don't fall into the victim mentality you have the choice to do whatever you want
Yeah, but if no one worked at Amazon….it would’ve been a failing company…!! The workers are what makes it a profitable business.
Jeff sold books in the beginning, and figured selling products by warehousing them from a central location based on other people’s hard work of creating a product consumers wanna buy…is what made him rich.
Treating people like slaves, shouldn’t make one grateful for having a job.
Working for Amazon is like living in a 3rd world country. .

I can't even argue this comment....
Complaining about how other driver make more money is pretty stupid, as you sit there wearing the Amazon gear. You are being paid what you have agreed to work for. If you are worth more, go make it. I didn't say it was easy, or guaranteed, but posting a video complaining about it is pointless, unless you plan on using that video to make a change.
I humbly disagree. I personally think that this is the new way of getting the word out to people to say "let's unite and apply pressure for them to pay is more". He's just simply saying that UPS is making money because of their union, let's create a union as well. Change does not come by sitting around, it comes by taking action. Let's have the discussion, I'm very open to it Mike.
If you never worked for Amazon then you don’t know how it works. You don’t talk to management inside warehouse to negotiate your pay. They pay you what they’re paying everyone else. You get an automated generated offer letter, in copy and paste format.
