Talented a tad bit of a stretch Noel had to change the key of all the songs he wrote because Liam couldn’t sing them in key.still iconic and one of my fav people in pop culture though

My Dad was doing security at an Oasis gig years back. Somehow ended up meeting Liam backstage. Sat down with my Dad and chatted about football. Came across as a sound guy...really down to earth.
This is one of the most honest interviews I've ever seen of Liam. He seems like a good guy whose learnt a lot in his life.
He used to be smackhead but got off that and got better he is a legend

I think Liam is a quiet guy who has a lot brewing under the surface and between the fame, the money, and the pressures in his life he occasionally blows and then regrets it.

Liam has so much heart for what he does. A true legend.
Best thing about Liam is he is true to himself. He says what's on his mind and is bare bones about things. Also his voice is sounding pretty good these days.
You can see the pain in liams eyes when he talks about not doing oasis. That was his outlet. That was his life. It kept him out of trouble. Oasis was everything for him.
Out of trouble? It ruined his marriage, relations with his kids, and his nostrils.

@TheGooners11 yeah, i could be wrong but liam seems quite edgy in this interview to me, and it felt like Chris was somehow adding to it, but maybe there was something else going on with liam. I think perhaps when this interview took place Liam was a lot more straight headed, but now it seems he's back on the coke pretty regular, tbh i think he's got a fairly serious problem with drugs. I know it's cool and rock and roll, so they say, but is it really?, people usually do it to mask serious insecurities, i mean that out of genuine concern for Liam, as i don't think he's in a good place.

I love the fact that no matter how long it’s been and how much success he’s had he still looks at oasis, those hits and the fans that still love oasis with so much fondness and respect! You don’t see that in other artists!

Liams heart is in the right place.
The bit about Noel was sad. Liam has mellowed a bit but he's still essentially the same manc geezer he was back in the early 90s. He wonders why Noel isn't the same. But Noel grew up and got a liking for the finer things in life. Noel became middle class. Liam misses the brother who's gone forever.

rivolinho That is true. And you have to say that nobody could hold that against Noel, and why should he be going around pretending he lives in a council estate on the dole. He has become middle class, but I don't think he's forgotten his roots.
Paul Murphy yeah you can't blame Noel. He wrote great songs as a broke kid. Now he writes slightly less great songs as a millionaire old fart. He's not young and angry anymore so why should he pretend to be. I just feel sorry for Liam that he hasn't his bro. We will all be dead an eternity. This kind of stuff is silly.

Me and my pals met Liam and the rest of the band (except Noel he stayed in a different hotel) in about 2000/1 in Glasgow. Got the call he was in a hotel in the west end and went down in a few cars. Stood outside it boozing and kicking a ball about then they came out and we got photos with them. Great memory
CHRIS: "Let me talk to you about the album."

Love Liam. For me he keeps it real, I could imagine a couple of lines and an afternoon in the pub with Liam, but not with Noel. Noel became Celeb and red carpet and I dont think he could ever go back to Oasis now with that vibe, but Liam could.

There was a time when journalists interviewed now most of them just give blow jobs for the stars ego.
Seems like a mutual dick sucking session tbh , should not even be labelled an interview. Moyles has always been a desperate star fucker, and had to get other desperate nobodies further down the chain then himself to prop up that awful radio show as butts of his non existent humour of his from yesteryear.
He made it seem like the Oasis reunion question was new. That shit started the first time they split up for 2 weeks and Noel came back. That question has lingered on for real hardcore since 2009. I think a chance is there, but it depends on Noel. Liam sounds up to it and his voice is actually presentable and mature. I love his new music to death and Noel's as well. Just great people normal everyday people can relate to. I can't relate to Justin Bieber and Imagine Dragons lol. But Liam and Noel, they're fellow brothers.
It's hard for Chris Moyles on this one as he's a Northern fan boy for Oasis at heart and some of this interview is for him, not you. Trying to be objective in this situation and with LG ready to burn you for saying something stupid would make anyone nervous. And he still went there and dug a hole - "did you get the saxophone out at any stage?" Young Liam would have kicked the table over and given him a slap for that comment.

i really didn't want that to end, LG is 1 funny guy, he says it how it is, and when he said about if oasis got back together he wouldn't want it to go to noel's world, i totally get what he's saying, noel would want to write and sing most of the songs and it would be high flying birds with trumpets and saxophones, Noel will never be a backing singer again and let liam take the glory, unless they sing all the oasis hits. i really hope they get back together and sort there differences out, even if they sort there differences out and just sang together for old times sake now and again id be happy
