- The @drumchannel - Invited me to be interviewed and jam with two legendary drummers, Chad Smith from the 'Red Hot Chili Peppers' and Gregg Bissonette who drums in Ringo Starrs 'All Starr band'. It was pretty incredible!!!
Thank you so much @drumchannel , Don Lombardi, Chad Smith and Gregg Bissonette. My Daddy and I had a great time. I loved jamming with you guys.

It was such a pleasure to invite you to Drum Channel, Nandi! A day to remember 🙏
Total respect to Chad and Gregg for talking to and joking with Nandi like an adult. She can absolutely hold her own.
Nandi giving “how to be an awesome young musician” lessons, her dad giving “how to be an awesome dad” lessons, and Chad and Greg giving “how to be awesome mentors” lessons.
This kids drum skills 👏 are CRAZY GOOD.👍🥁🎸🎹🎷🎺🎻
Mentors
“I go to bed to Slipnot!” 🤣🤣🤣 Wiw. Awesome. ❤️🌹💋
As a Dad of a young daughter, I cannot help but have the biggest smile on my face watching this. I even have a tear in my eye. I only found your videos yesterday and I must say that your videos are the best I've ever seen on YT or anywhere else for that matter. Aside from my family, you are a shining light in these dark times and thank you for being so humble and funny as heck. Rock on! 🤘
Couldnt agree more
Love, how you corrected your humble father, when he said, he is not a musician. Love&respect!
She is so incredibly unpretentious considering her amazing journey at such a young age. Never lose that quality Nandi. You're such an amazing rising star.
What ever you want to teach me, this is how smart she is! 🤘🏼🙌🏽
It was an amazing opportunity for me to learn from some of the greatest drummers! I could not wait for Chad and Gregg to teach me.
Nandi, you and your dad will accomplish great things.
"Come hang out with me and Danny Carey"
OMG DO IT, CHILD
That's so awesome
GO TO MALIBU!!
I love this girl! She’s a super kid. I love that experienced musicians are nurturing her talents and sharing their wisdom. 💗 Can’t wait to see how far she’ll go, keep it up Nandi!
1 out of billions is just attaching oneself. These channels are designed to make money, as well as teach. Don't misread this. She is amazing and very focused. She deserves her days.. but there are so so so so so so many kids that are this good sho don't get the light. Not everything you see is what it seems..
But drummers are a very sensitive club.. they are talking to her with true respect within the framework of jumping on the band wagon and doing the publiscity thing,, it's not so wholesome,
@@morbidmanmusic I have been following Nandi since the beginning and I support many artists on CZcams and other platforms, and it sounds like you do too. 👍🏼
Someday, she's going to fill Wembley...
@@morbidmanmusic There are many talented artists who never got a "break". If this is her "break", I'm fine with that. That's just the way of the world...
@@morbidmanmusic I am so glad that I don't have your world view. Seriously, what is the POINT of you? Keep your cynical misery to yourself. Go away.
I love the fact that she’s still a fun kid, a prodigy… but still a kid ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Can you imagine being a music teacher that started teaching Nandi before she became a Rock star among Rock stars, and is still teaching her?
Wow! What an incredible honor!
Nandi...you're a legend!
Keep on Rockin'.
I would love to see Nandi jam with ?uestlove! I’m so honored to witness the rise of a phenomenal female drummer. Stay humble but fierce, Nandi. And be forever young!💚
I love how she says for them to do whatever they want to teach her. She's a learner at heart and wants to absorb as much as she can from experienced players who are willing to help her. Bissonette seems like the coolest dude for a kid. So much enthusiasm and encouragement. Great mentors to have contact with.
Nandi as a musician myself I can really respect not only your awesome talent, but also your clear competence as a musician. I also admire your family, who clearly love and support you. It sounds like they have done an excellent job of creating a happy home life (the pancake story and the trips to theme parks are examples). I can only imagine how proud your parents are of you and your brother...
You are amazing Nandi, I've followed you from the beginning. Very proud of you and your accomplishments.
Dad, you're an amazing father/person, keep rocking and supporting!
Great interview. I smile every time I watch Nandi. Nandi’s dad and mom have done such a greater job with both Nandi and her brother. Keep going, stay grounded! ❤️
What a cool girl!
I can see why her father is so proud!
Wonderful conversation. You have a great head on your shoulders, Nandi and it's so great to see that you have time to be a normal kid as well as the rockstar.
Someone needs to set up a jam with her and slipknot!
The pure joy makes me smile EVERY time! Thanks for sharing your gift with us, Nandi!💕
Destroyed a drum kit in 2 weeks (when 5 years old...) - LEGENDARY ! Keep on rocking Nandi :)
If that ain't the most rockstar thing ever...
Nandi is my idol!! She’s has amazing girl power!
Brings such a sophisticated, down to earth vibe to every opportunity. Such joy!
She has the drive, the attitude and talent. I love watching her -she's an entertainer...
simply adorable. Hope she is sticking to it for real. She has a ton of talent.
She’s precious and you can tell she has an awesome relationship with her Dad!! This is so great
You totally mugged your dad off with the “ he wasn’t good anyway though” comment, well played 😂😂😂
Beautiful child, heaps of talent ... dads are very important.
the very best interview...... So much respect for Nandi and her whole family
She always puts a big smile on my face.
as Grohl said it live when she played a track with the Foo Fighters: (something like: )'' In these real bleak times she's one of the lights in the tunnel''
Nandi, dear precious one, please never let go of your Daddy and Mommy. As you start becoming a teenager, you'll see what I mean. Daddy is like your kick drum holding down the beat, Mommy is like your stool holding you up. Without both you can't play drums with that fearlessness you have. That absolute courage you have when playing drums comes from the knowledge that Daddy, Mommy and Tommy have always supported you and will always be there for you. I wish I had a Daddy and Mommy like yours, my Daddy left when I was 7 and my Mommy never understood my love for music when I was younger. She even took away my music player and said Rock music was the Devil's music. There will be times that you may disagree with your Daddy and Mommy...always know it is normal to have disagreements...and it is healthy to talk through and discuss whatever disagreements you may have...but never forget, no one on this Earth loves you more than Daddy, Mommy and Tommy. Just like a good rhythm, whenever you disagree with them, try your best to make amends with them so that the rhythm of your loving family can always stay in tempo. Some times you may need a little time, but never drift too far apart from tempo of your family. Millions of us have fallen in love with you and your talent, but Mommy and Daddy love you and Tommy with a love that even your biggest fans won't be able to give you. May you have a wonderful life filled with magical experiences and thank you for inspiring us!
Beautiful!
Valuable points,memorably made. Thank you.
delete this fukn weird essay
😢❤. Beautifully said.
"whatever you want to teach me" wiser words have never been spoken ❤
Gift from God this little drummer🥰🥰🤠🤠
This is so amazing! Thank you Nandi and John! Cheers Chad and Gregg for doing this awesome interview. Nandi is going to rock forever!
One of the reasons I enjoy watching her videos, she's just so well grounded in her life.
Nandi is living the life and she hasn't even lived her life. This is amazing.
You better keep up those good grades, Nandi. You're awesome!
What a great group of people, all the way around. Will be following this little phenom forever. She is very inspiring and I’m 50. Lol.
Fantastic. What a great vibe.
Thanks for sharing this wonderful video with us. You all looked like you were having so much fun. ❤️❤️❤️🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
You keep me motivated and young hearted! I so totally thank you!
Nandi, you are so boss and so is your Dad and family!!! ❤️😍💕
You are such an amazing person and have quite the awesome Daddy!
If you've ever watched Chad Smith's interview with Charlie Watts you would appreciate just a what a warm generous person Chad is. For a guy who has been at the top for so long it's wonderful to see how unaffected he is by the rock and roll lifestyle.
Shes amazing in interviews and her personality is contagious. i cant wait to see her interviews in another decade they will be amazing ..
What an amazing young lady. I watched the entire drum session before this interview and it was really amazing. What a talent.
Thanks for putting a smile on my face! Keep on rocking! Greetings from Costa Rica!
This is AWESOME. So "natural" too...
Like she just tells it like it is. Dad just accepts it as fact and reality.
So refreshing
Having watched the drum session between the three of them, it was nothing short of awesome (especially discovering 'Trading 4s' which I knew nothing about).
Hearing Nandi tell Chad and Gregg "I like heavy metal!" and that she's a fan of 'TOOL!" is frickin' ADORABLE! 🤘🤘
Trading fours is cool and fun no matter the instrument. I do at a vocal group of 7 people. It's incredibly developing for your craft.
Nandi you are a treasure! I love watching your journey!! I wish I could could play drums like you. Stay humble. ♥️
What I love about Nandi’s parents is that they didn’t resist her interest in drums. Sometimes parents want girls to learn the piano or violins, and it’s quite rare to see girl take up drums. Great jobs to these fellas and mom for instilling confidence in her. Great role models and parents ❤
Probably one of the best interviews I’ve seen
Daddys dream come true as well
OMG LOVE HER! Good job Dad she's a doll and soooo talented and spark.
Believe it or not I have met Nandi because my her dad is my mums cousin so I am related to her!
By the way Nandi if you are reading this my real name is Annabel 😁
What a beautiful talented soul I can’t wait to see her in the future
Just a legend in the making.
Go Nandi show them how its done! 🥁🇬🇧❤
I *LOVE* everything about this!!!!
Great interview! And the bond between you and your dad is strong, but musically is even superstrong! I like how those great musicians really listen to you. Hanging out with the great. You’re living it!
Can someone please. Please, get her to meet Ringo! Or has she already met Ringo??
She quite simply represents hope & faith. Hope & faith that maybe, just maybe, the future is going to be okay after all.
My God. So incredibly, luvably adorable & so Amazingly gifted!
I am such a huge fan of Nandi. Such a nice interview. Well done!
She is so delightful! And immensely talented!
So enjoyable! I loved every second of both videos with you all and Nandi!
Look I'm not a music person (by which I mean I can't play any instruments) but Nandi is amazing from what I heard of her and these two interviewer guys are actually invested with her and it touches me even as a none music person. What a great little girl, in I only wish good things for her!
Lotta warmth in this conversation!
I'm very impressed, my two sons used to play at this age.
Chad and Gregg are true gents!👌🏻
Goooooo Nandi! You are great !
This was such a great interview! Nandi is a star on the way to superstardom! In a time when things aren't always looking great in the world, it's nice to watch the Nandi story unfold. It's a feel-good story, one that can make us smile and cheer.
You should listen to Jinjer, they have a great drummer, bass player, guitarist and Tatiana is an awesome singer. I think you'd love them. Start out with Pisces and work your way down the rabbit hole. :)
Cool! Great Interview! Thanks from Milwaukee Wisconsin 🇺🇸🍺🧀
Maybe you should share this pancake recipe 😊
SO INSPIRING, COOL TO WATCH!!! YOUR AWESOME, KEEP ROCKING!!!!!
The good musical taste of Nandi's parents influenced her great musical taste. Thanks God for this to happen. She's such an AMAZING drummer.
The coolest kid 😎

Wow!!! Thank you, l enjoyed watching this so much! 🤩🤘👏👏👏👏👏👏🥁❤️

You are such a great drummer Nandi!! 🥁😉✌️
Great to see Will Ferrell on the show!
Those days are gone. They look nothing alike anymore.
Great interview!
Nandi. Keep on rocking.
Nandi is a prodigy!
Love, hope you remember this when you are like 20 :)
Oh, and don't let the fame and game change you young lady.. stay you.. stay grounded.
This is a wonderful video and makes the viewer smile, good luck with everything Nandi.
brilliant job Nandi
The Dad is so sympathik ❤️
This was awesome
She's smart enough to recognise that she's the pupil in this scenario..... RESPECT...!!!
love your videos
Nice to see your father. That was a first for me. Though the technical talk on drumming went way over my head. I like to listen but I am not a drummer by any means.
I would love to see a masterclass with her and Jack White! A drummer turned guitarist turned music virtuoso.
Both my guitar heroes started out as drummers. Eddie Van Halen and Nuno Bettencourt. I'm afraid every time Nandi picks up a guitar, she might boggle my mind beyond the point of sanity.
Actually I think it would be more interesting to have her get a lesson from Meg White. Meg White has a very unique style.
This was awesome!
One of my first pops concerts as a principal horn in an orchestra was with Doc Severinsen and his band. It quickly showed me what awesome musicians are behind those “names.” When Doc took a break, he said “I’m gonna let my electric guitar guys play you a beautiful song so you can hear what a wonderful instrument it is..” and..just..wow..as a young “classical” musician I wasn’t snobby, but seriously uneducated as to what incredible musicians all those guys and gals are..every pops band (nearly every) I got to work with in 25 years really opened my eyes to the diversity and satisfaction to be had from all kinds of music and instruments. But..I’ll never forget that first Doc concert..I got to play with several drum guys too, I’m thinking Buddy Rich if he had an orchestral show, or maybe my memory is messed up..
