Absolutely! Even I hardly do videography. A6400 is extremely friendly to photography beginners if you are familiar with its menu. It's portable and makes me enjoy taking it out. APSC lenses are also cheaper than full-frame ones. I owned this amazing camera for a year, love it🔥🔥
Totally agree!
Can you please tell a little more about, is it good for complete beginner like me who would just like take good photos for myself and some videos too, not professional level, just for personal use?
i bought mine for videos though!
@@Akagami753 yeah it’s good I would probably recommend getting it and then potentially one of the sigma lens trio/sigma 2.8 zoom lens for apsc. They are more pricey but make your photos/video look much more professional
@@Akagami753it is! A supern camera for photo and video. I also use the camera for professional use
Bought one 2 months ago and loving it! The features, the quality, range of lenses, price and SIZE. Sold my Canon R6 to replace it with this Sony A6400. No regrets.
By the way, love your videos! I've been binge watching since I discovered you a few weeks ago 😎📷
Thank you appreciate it a lot! And yea that camera is still a beast!
I think you did a big mistake if you are a photographer🤔
@sayonara_style5068 not a professional just a hobbyist. Funny this just just came up. This week I sold the Sony and got myself a Fujifilm X-Pro 2.
@@kbwlr that's cool
The colors on that slow mo grass shot were amazing
Just in time! I just bought mine a few hours ago. I have a bigger, heavier a7IV and after having a chance to use one a6400, I instantly fell in love.
Can't beat the size for sure
how much did you pay for the 6400?
I already have a Sony a6400 but now I am thinking of switching to a7iv
Keep up the awesome work!
One of my favourite creators on youtube
IT IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING
A6400 is perfect for me and more capable than many other popular cameras. Only issue is lack of compact 23mm f1.8/f2 and 18mm f1.8/f2 lenses…
I have the A6600. Hope it still stays usable for the foreseeable future! Everything is getting so expensive...
hahaha everything camera related is expensive, but the a6600 is a super nice camera
For photos I still use the Fujifilm Finepix S100FS with only 11.1 megapixels and I still get very good results
it's my second cam and it's doing its job perfect
The sad thing is there isn't much competition in the APS-C space anymore so even if you wanted to buy a newer, better APS-C there isn't a lot of APS-C bodies to choose from. When will we see a followup for the Sony alpha APS-C series? Will we EVER see it? Or is APS-C at the end of its lifespan? I guess it's not since Sony just released the FX-30 which costs as much as a good full-frame... but in the a6x00 price range there is Nothing.
Thanks for convincing me 🎉❤
Amazing camera
Bro, everytime i hear the word beginner/starting out on cameras that goes for 1k/1.5k it literally drives me crazy XD... how in the sweet mary a beginner starts out from a 1k camera??
maybe “entry level” is a better word? you can find lots of simpler point and shoots for more affordable prices definitely. I think the a6400 is kinda like a ‘gateway’ camera to more professional photography so like a camera for budding professionals (beginners in that sense)? idk lol
Yes! I use mine for stills and video client work nearly every day.
Is it good for product photography?
As someone who owns both the FX3 and the A7Siii, I like the 6400 because it’s a good cheapo 3rd camera for weddings that looks reasonably good and works perfectly if you just need something at 24 frames without a 30 minute shoot limit
The way you use that camara FOR ME you are the best in CZcams. You make that camra look like a Sony A1
means a lot man!
What did you record this video on? Pretty amazing.. tell the lens too
For photos & vlogging yes! For cinema video not really (get a used gh5 or Fuji X-T3 instead for the 10 bit)
yea that 10bit is way better for sure
I’ve finally outgrown this little camera after learning photography with it and it’s bittersweet 🥲. Definitely the perfect package for a beginner.
100%
What did you upgrade to out of curiosity?
I recently got the zv-1 camera and I love it! Change the stabilization setting to standard, it’ll zoom out more instead of it being super cropped. I have an unboxing and videos of this camera on my channel. Great compact camera.
Yes I have the zve1 as well, a nice little camera for sure 😊
what cam are you using while recording this short? also the light eqp.
Is it good as my first camera or should I go with the A6700 or is it a bit overkill?
May I ask what camera you used to shoot yourself in this short?
I got an alternative to it which is Zv-e10. So it the same sensor, just a bit more compact body and a floppy screen. I get so many compliments on videos and photos that do. “They don’t know the truth “ 😅
I have that one too ☺️ really nice camera
is zve10 better than 6400 ??
^^
Big love for the A6400 x
Yes!
Still have my A6300 which was my first Sony camera purchase.
Can you suggest me any photography camera under 600$ pls sir ?
I agree 100% but I’m very new to photography so I’m not sure what lens would be best to go with this camera? I would mainly shoot landscape and nature
What lens do you think will work best with this camera for content creation?
I’m looking at this and Fuji X-t2 to start scanning film and also for travel and landscape what is better between the two?
Why there are out there a lot of this videos? I use a 12 years old point and shoot fujifilm camera to do photos and it still takes good photos…this camera is literally new.
I really wanna upgrade to the a7IV, thoughts?
$1550 CAD Sony A6400 30mm lens - Sigma including lens cap + Sun guard and 16-50mm lens - OSS
OR
$700 Fuji x-t200 w/ XF35mmF2 R WR lens
Never used the Fuji so I can't comment sorry
the 6400 is available used for 600-700€/$ here in Germany
Get a6400 used, can find it for 500-600$ with low shutter count. Its a steal…
Damn 😂,I love your accent man
v good video, plz advice me best photo camera for wedding videography under 1200$ without overheating issue
pls reply.
what would you say the perfect camera is for a beginner
So what do you recommend in this range of price for photography that is perfect 😀❤
So can I get this as a beginner?
What’s the best lense for street photography for this camera??
I've had trouble finding 4K video footage on my 2016 MacBook pro. I've reformatted, tried opening it up in Final Cut, and I've bought a better SD card that should work, but still I cannot view the video correctly. Wtf bro. It's made me want to just record with my iphone 13 pro max with worse low light quality.
Between Sony a6400 and Fujifilm x-t30 mark II , which one do you think will perform better in portrait photography in terms of image quality, autofocus ?
I’m looking for a camera for portrait photography, but for babies, so it has got to be a responsive camera 😂
ibis?
On which camera you shoot and the lens?
Which memory card is the best for this camera ?
Question, is this camera good for recording high light objects at night? (I’d like to record new years on it) and I want to see if it’s worth it for that.
Then which one is a good mirrorless camera today?
Is it good for real estate shooting and which lens is good for wide angle?
I think I wanna buy that but what lens should I get with that what’s best
Does the auto cleaning function in the camera menu work on your a6400 ? Does the sensor vibrate when you turn on cleaning ?
what PP would you recommend to shoot video on?
What about fir music videos? Would you recommend it?
Yoo Arthur you got a new haircut haha. Looks good on you broo
thank you!
What did you film this video on?
I bought a sony a58 like a year ago, it is Very good. And it costed like 200 dollars
I want to buy the a6400 because i want to invest in the sony e lenses and switch later to sony alpha 7 iv. So the question is do both cameras use the same lenses ?
is this shot good photos without tripod?
What about the battery backup
3 years holding this (since it launch after move on from DSLR era) i agree it's still worthy eventhough way much downside especially rolling shutter issue and 8bit color
maybe i would upgrade to FX30 or Sigma FP for future plan
but it must be far on future lol
The rolling shutter I'd bad but you can work around it with other types of shots. But yea I agree it's a nice little camera
@@thaticelandicguy my trick handling this camera, don't turn too fast hahahaha
i use it for Music Video Shoot until now and it's good camera for price tag to be honest
This was my first mirrorless camera and now I have the Sony A1 and a photography side business
The AF is still amazing. So is the overall image quality. The only downside for me is the usability. But I would recommend everyone to buy this camera in 2022
It's a nice little camera 😌
Can you elaborate on "usabalitiy"? What do you mean by that?
@@Protegit Other cameras like the Fujis make way more fun to use. It doesn't lay very good in your hand, it has no joystick, no ISO wheel... stuff like that. But still... Amazing camera!
@@manuelg5188 Oh, okay. Now I understand. Smallrig really helps with handling. I'd go mad if I had to use mine without a smallrig.
Absolutely why they make small rig cages it doesn't even fit in my hand without one
What lense?
Short & sweet 😄
☺️
Which one better handling overheating..sony A6400 or zv-e1?esp for vlog
Zv-e1 will be better overall for vlogging
6600vs6400? Which?
What is your usually using lens for portrait and landscape?
landscape a 16MM Sigma 1.4 and Portrait i use the Sony 50MM with the OSS.
Cost?
Is the kit lens16-50 mm good for street photography?
Also doesn't that make the focus bad?
It’s alright I would try to get the 18-135mm
@@robholguin9091 I was thinking of getting 50-220mm lens but I think that to advanced for me
At the same time Olympus OM-1 with their 240fps slow motion in FHD goes sleeping
So what's the best
Full frame camera that can record 4k 60fps
I just bought one
can i ask you something, nikon z50 or sony a6400 which one is better for a beginner?
better one is cheaper one so you can put funds in good glass, lights, tripod and stuff..depends ehat for do u plan to use it for, mainly? but trust me, cameras are so close these days and are capable for anything.. where u will notice a jump in quality os when u learn to use it to full potential, buy some lights or flash and learn to ise them.. if i can help u kore,shoot.. peace 😊
A6400 or ZV - e10? (I do both video and photography)
a6400
I bought that camera under a month ago and still learning from it. I actually was torn between a6400 and Canon EOS R10. What are your thoughts? I keep watching your very helpful videos. Thank you so much and keep up the good work!
Any major differences to ZV-E10?
It has an evf. The screen probably flips differently.
Love mine, but still struggle to find a decent lens for video out and about as it has no ibis, what do you use?
The 6600 does have ibis.
@NightWLKR1 yes, but the a6400 does not. I had rhe 6500 before and ibis wasn't that great tbh and newer features on 6400 made it more use able
6600 new was 400-500 more with very little extra other than ibis. Pricing strategy was a bit wrong on the 6000 series IMHO
The perfect camera doesn't exist lol
What camera or u using to shoot the video your doing now
that was shot on the sony a74 :)
I bought a6400 yesterday second hand ununsed for half thw market price
My camera a6400 yes worth it
8bit sounds so frustrating thoooo
It has a flash omg 6400 dealbreaker gotta have a flash
The answer is yes
What hoodie is that bro??
A power hoodie from Houdini 🔥
@@thaticelandicguy fresh bro, appreciate you🔥
Gud wedeo 👍
You can easily find it for 600 usd so i think its great for that price
No, beginer should start with fullframe camera.
No, full frame is completely unnecessary for a beginner and will just add extra cost.
Icelandic?
Yes 🙌
@@thaticelandicguy Stunning language. Learned it for a while. A truly viking talk. The purest of Scandinavian languages. Glad Faroe language is also with us here.
Ha jú😂grín
Can you do professional work with this camera and start making money
Yea I’ve done many paid gigs with it
@@thaticelandicguyWow! this gives me more confidence in this device. Btw, do you think it's worth waiting for a potential a7000 series upgrade? Also, is this device good enough for photography and filming of weddings?
Nope..no touch screen
4K is almost unusable, the rolling shutter is awful
Yea the rolling shutter on it is pretty bad indeed
A6300 better value
focusing is bad
Depends is it shut down because it overheated? Lololol
Can u tale me bro your camera name Or lanse in video use
Canu you please help me with a best camera to use with the Gimbel as well ❤️🩹
I got it With Sigma 18-35 f/1.8 but i Miss some Stabilization. Any recommended Lens ?
