    Malaysia ECRL - The longest 665km East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) will traverse the East Coast states of Kelantan, Terengganu, and Pahang before linking the Klang Valley on the West Coast of Peninsular Malaysia. The Genting Tunnel in Pahang is the Longest Rail Tunnel in Asia. 2026

    One thing I wish the MRT designed is dual-transfer stations like Singapore/hong-kong, they could've used the Conlay station with a cross platform transfer design like TRX but going in opposite directions, for example;
    On a TRX train platform, both train goes the same direction.
    On conlay station the train goes opposite direction, so you don't have to climb the escalator if you want to go to putrajaya instead of K-damansara.
    Add more announcements and guide signs on the train like in Singapore so people know where to go. For example;
    "For service to bukit Bintang, please transfer to platform 4, for service to maluri, please transfer at Conlay station"
    That's why hong Kong and singapore are the pioneers of the MRT system.

    - buy the card & buy 1 day or 3 days unlimited ride pass
    - kl transit will stop at stations between kl sentral & klia. KL express go directly to klia/kl sentral (early booking will be cheaper)
    - ETS also available at kl sentral (including food court) ask information counter
    - lockers are available at at kl sentral & nu mall (ground floor). Ask information counter
    -most trains/platforms named after the last station of each line
    -for ktmb please get the schedule (working days/weekend) at the counter or online
    -ktmb trains also have dedicated women coaches seats
    -just buy the token to the station you want, it'll include the cost for both lines. So don't need to exit/pay at the interchange station (not sure for monorail line) but you can walk a few minutes from monorail stations also to lrt/mrt/ktmb stations
    -if the train too crowded & u can't see the information boards, just turn on your phone map (not work for underground train)
    -for 1st timer at masjid jamek lrt station, please ask information counter to go another station
    -the app can tracking bus location online
    For those who want to tour the Greater KL from above without hassle, cozy & low cost, it's recommended to take those trains because most of the tracks are lifted except ktmb

    Very good video - we have been to KL many times but were always confused by the MRT/LRT system - but we always take to express train from the airport. The travel card at the beginning... can you add money to it later or do you buy another card when it runs out - or does it last 3 days unlimited travel?

      Now they have a new Unlimited Pass for travellers, 1 day Pass RM10.00 and 3 days Pass RM25.00 (1 Card for 1 Person)

    Do you top up the card at the info booths? Can you top up anywhere else? Also, I'd heard of the Touch 'N Go card but not the MyRapid card. Am I correct that the MyRapid is only for use on the trains and the Touch 'N Go is for the trains and other purchases? Are there benefits to using the MyRapid instead of the Touch 'N Go? Thanks for the great video. It was very useful.

      1. Yes, you can top-up this card at the Information booths, Auto-Machines (Self service) on some LRT stations, Highways, Touch ‘n Go SPOT at Petrol Stations, some convenient stores (MyNews etc) and many other ways.
      2. MyRapid is a Touch 'n Go card, they have many versions of (Many different looking) Touch 'n Go cards.
      3. Yes, you are right, Touch 'n Go card can be used for transport as well as many other services ( The Touch 'n Go Card may be used for toll usage at all highways in Malaysia, major public transportation services in Klang Valley and at selected retail and food outlets and theme
      park.)
      4. They also have Touch 'n Go E-Wallet, its a digital wallet for cashless payments and online purchases, it's the most used E-Wallet in Malaysia.
