I have this headlamp! #1 reason i got it was for the single AA battery. I haven't put it through the paces just yet but I carry in my everday bag just in case. Very nice review!

Does the brightness go down after several minutes?

Think this was the GR2 28L
I was gonna do a review on it but they stopped making this version so I just use it :)
I pretty much goes with me everywhere, it’s been a great bag.

Do you have to turn the white mode on first before you can use the red or can you go straight to red mode?

You can go straight into red mode by pressing and holding the mode button when the headlamp is off 👍
