Hey guys back with another exciting vlog. This time we went to Haridwar, one of the most famous places in Uttarakhand. We explored street food, Har ki pauri, Ganga aarti and many more things. From Mumbai it took us 2 days to reach but we enjoyed alot in Haridwar.
Haridwar is a city located in the state of Uttarakhand in northern India. It is one of the seven holiest places in Hinduism and is considered a major pilgrimage site. The city is situated on the banks of the River Ganges, and it is believed that taking a dip in the holy river at Haridwar can cleanse a person of their sins.
Haridwar is known for its numerous temples and ghats (steps leading to the river). One of the most famous temples in Haridwar is Har Ki Pauri, which is believed to be the spot where Lord Vishnu left his footprint. This ghat is also the venue for the famous Kumbh Mela, a grand Hindu festival that takes place every 12 years and attracts millions of pilgrims from all over the world.
The Ganga Aarti in Haridwar is a famous and significant religious ritual that takes place every evening at Har Ki Pauri ghat, one of the most revered ghats in Haridwar. It is a captivating and spiritual event where devotees gather to offer prayers and witness the worship of the River Ganges, also known as Mother Ganga.
The Ganga Aarti is a deeply spiritual experience for both locals and tourists. It is believed that witnessing this ritual brings blessings, peace, and purification. Many people consider it a divine moment to connect with the sacred river and seek spiritual solace.
