A good way to make money with gold is... Put $900 of gold nuggets in a bucket and fill with dirt. Sell them for $1500
I agree Daniel O'Brien, and thanks for watching!
make sure the dirt you put the nuggets in has been panned out. Never know what is in that ordinary dirt your selling.
@@bantalee2002 Not worth the effort and labor costs. They just dig the dirt from a dry creek bed and sell it as unclassified.
Lol
I can't agree more
My father panned gold in the Black Hills of South Dakota, as a hobby for over 50 years. I bought a similar bucket for him the year he was dying. I knew I was getting hosed, but the look on his face (especially after the larger nuggets) was worth every dime. Because of a stroke, it took him several days to get through the dirt, which was part of the fun because like in the video, the larger nuggets panned out first, and he told stories about similar finds of years ago that came to mind. He panned a LOT of gold over the years, so he knew exactly how these companies operated, but we still had fun and it was great to see a smile on his face and to share a lot of old memories. Thanks for the video. It made my day.
Sorry for ur loss.
Thank you for sharing your story.
God bless you
Thannks for the awesome story!
beautiful my man. you will always have that memory with him, which not even $1million worth of gold could buy
While I'm certainly not into gold panning, I love finding niche hobbies like these and enjoy seeing people have fun with them, it's so wholesome seeing someone else get happy over something they're passionate about.

How do you know if it’s not a lie? Seems like a perfect advertisement trick to me 😂
Everyone is making fun of the lesser value of the gold as opposed to market prices. But no one considers the value of the bucket and dirt. I mean, that's a bucket and dirt he did not have before.

Fed Ex once misdelivered mine (from another company). In the course of filing a claim, I had to explain why I had paid $300 , for dirt. When I told the woman about my “special dirt”, you could hear the skepticism in her voice. Even when she wasn’t speaking.
I really enjoyed the video. I didn't know there were so many steps in separating the dirt.
I wouldn't be able to shake the feeling someone has thrown some gold into a bucket of rocks, shaken it up and sent it to me.
braddeicide the nuggets were shiny. What good nugget comes out of the ground so shiny?? 😂
@@kateymateymusic1 Gold isnt shiny per say, but it does have a gloss to it. Gold reacts with a few substances, therefore in nature its found in its elemental form. Now purity is another matter- gold can contain other materials within the crystal grid. But none the less, it doesnt affect the appearance much, only its value. In nature , it may be covered in mud, provided it hasnt petrified(it happens, but very rarely), it will still look like gold. You have to admire the balls on a company to sell something like this. Knowing every single customer will be disappointed, but also knowing their ego will make it more likely that they'll try again and buy a second bucket before admitting to their wife she was right and they wasted a thousand dollars.

If I wasn't a good wholesome Christian boy, and wanted to part with my scruples. I'd probably melt drip 1oz. or so of 18k gold into water, then into a bucket of dirt and sell it for $250 over gold's current market value. I guess it's a good thing the idea of God is a construct, we are all just matter that is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, that we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves.

@@TheShootist Yes. I know they don't all come from a creek. As I understand it, Gold was brought up between tectonic plates from materials being bubbled up through hot springs exhausting between the plates. Then in certain areas, the space between erodes away and in some cases these areas become creeks and rivers. But, I don't know much, it's more of an educated guess.

I got into gold panning for a little while a few years ago. This is the first video I've watched on anything related in years. Buying a $1500 bucket for $900 worth of gold seems like a nice recreation of what trying to pan for gold ends up doing.

Hello I'm pretty new to this gold stuff I'm just curious the stuff that comes out of the bucket the heater is that ready to melt or is it something you have to process first
If you melt natural nuggets, you're literally melting the premium value away from the gold. For instance let's say a 1 ounce natural gold nugget sells for $3000. It will sell for that much, because although it's not 24k pure (maybe closer to 14k), it's the natural nugget that collectors want and pay for. If you take that same nugget and melt it and refine it, you'll end up with a little over a half ounce of 24k pure gold, worth only around $850. Hope this information helps, not sure if it answered your question though.
