Lots of questions get asked about the stick throwers - I wanted to know about the paramedics in the water. What their special training is for this task and what their individual spotting duties are? I presume they each are assigned a special area to monitor in a high focus area and then a general scan always. I may be totally wrong. I would also like to know about the “shoe and shammy throwing.” Perhaps RedBull should create a silly bonus event at the end for who can throw their shammy or shoes closest to a target from their platform, etc.
Also, what are the weather restrictions? Obviously, no diving during an active thunderstorm but what if it is just windy? What if it is windy and raining without any risk lightning?
