I wanna go to mass, where ev'ryone sings along(gospel, like black people) and where people are really spiritual!!! But such churches don't exist in Austria -.-
OH MY GOD!!! AMAZING! Went to see these genius' a couple Christmas' ago at the Jazz Cafe!! LOVED them, and i LOVE this version of Joyful Joyful, and they did it fantastically. im so pleased, i lovedddd ittttt xxxxxxxxx London x
Some members of the group came to my University in Canterbury last Dec'11, and our Gospel choir got the privledge to sing along with them in the evening. And we also got to see the evening show for free. Their music is wonderful and it's such a joy to see them perform and forget about the worlds problems.
Saw them in Potters Bar last night doing their Christmas show. It was youngest member Natasha's 15th birthday, and she sang a beautiful version of 'Give Me a Clean Heart' :)
Actually I think London Community Gospel Choir did do some kind of Sister Act tour or concert .... they're well worth seeing live if you haven't already. I think they're in the Jazz Cafe in the week running up to Christmas!
@kilaaaaa Same here :) One of the things that make Christianity a beautiful religion to me, even though I'm not a follower, is the passion they show in gospel music. It's very uplifting. It's what a dream like World Peace is made up of. Beats all the hypocrites out there that claim to be religious but do the opposite.
im a Catholic,, and i would love the chance to sing in this choir..id go all out,,, some practice first of coarse...but singing for Jesus is a major blast..more fun than singing something else though,, i've done choirs and i've done singing non-Christian stuff, big diiference ...sing with a serious face and heart full of love...the serious on face is a product of being under more control of voice and mouth features use to bring the best sound...i've been told that i looked mad and serious..lol
@pterobsven yeah, i agree. the gospel churches i attended in america were vibrant and alive, it was such an experience to go to church. but you can worship like this anywhere, any time because God is everywhere. you don't need to find a good church, but they are out there :)
Can someone tell me where I can find notes of this song?? I realy need them for my Choir, but I cant still find it. Can you help me?? please. They sing great. Perfect!!
It's a shame we have to use as excuse such as 'A belief in God', to come together and sing so passionately. I loved the work with the Gorillaz, and would love to see more.
Could someone please tell me, who is the singer at 1:28? He is obviously not a member of LCGC anymore, since he is performing only in this video and cannot be found on any other video or photo of the LCGC. Thanks in advance!
@pterobsven Christianity is not a religion, it is a relationship and way of life according to Jesus Christ. Being an atheist, I'm sure it's rather difficult for you to have faith about these things, however, church is not the key to getting into heaven. When you accept Jesus Christ and read the Bible, living according to His standards, you're life will never be the same which is good. You don't know if you have time to get it right with Jesus because you don't know when you are going to die,
@laijra Sadly people these days are perceived with the wrong image of how church is supposed to be. Church can be fun and exciting jumping hollering screaming and all doing it praising our savior. There is no right or wrong way to worship the king.
Now, if I'd been forced into attending a Church like this when I was younger I'd probably be religious today. But nooooo... when you're a kid you get forced into a cold, dirty, old concrete Church where you have to sit on an uncomfortable seat whilst listening to some boring bloke harp on about a fairytale. It didn't take me long to become an atheist really. Kudos to this video though.
This choir is very good, but I'm glad they're not in my church. I'm guessing I'm in a minority here, but personally I go to church to sing hymns and give praise to God, not be entertained.
you don't have to be religious to appreciate the joy in their eyes, in their voices

You had me going THEN the jacksons?
try visiting any black churches we have them both in the UK and even in Holland. I can't comment on Austria but I am sure they are out there.
@kilaaaaa Me thinks your soul is responding to it more than anything else ;)
Was this recorded at St Mary's Bryanston Square?
@Gudulpif Not from a musical stand point. But to feel it like the choir seem to, I would say yes. But that's just my opinion.
Could someone please tell me, who is the singer at 1:28? He is obviously not a member of LCGC anymore, since he is performing only in this video and cannot be found on any other video or photo of the LCGC.

Makes me wish I was religious!!!
@pterobsven Go and see LCGC - it's never too late to stop being an atheist!
